我剛買了這套教材, 本來我覺得我沒有資格告訴大家正確的使用方法, 但我見到這個 post 已一段時間了, 你們買的是不是二手貨, 所以無法問到使用時間表?  抑或是你們的顧問解釋得不清楚呢?  以下是我的顧問給我的建議 (注意, 這是針對我的 bb 年齡而設的, 現在他約 5 個月大;  理論上年紀大一點的小孩, 使用方法是有點不同的):

Wake Up Songs/Bedtime Songs
* 早上和臨睡時播給 bb 聽.

Sing Along
* 第一個月先用藍色, 然後第二個月用綠色, 第三個月用青色, 第四個月用黃色.  第五個月依上述循環.
* 隔天使用 Sing Along, 同一天可聽 CD, Songs & Music, 以及 Spoken Version. 因為 bb 仍小, 暫時不看 DVD.  務求先讓 bb 聽熟內容.  bb 在聽的時候, 可以將 Sing Along 書本翻給他看.

Play Along
* 只有 3 張 CD 及 DVD, 隔天使用 CD, 暫不看 DVD.  第一天聽 CD 1, 第二天聽 CD 2, 第三天聽 CD3.

所謂隔天使用, 是指同一天只單聽 Sing Along 或 Play Along 而言.  不要在同一天聽兩種課程, 以免孩子混淆.

Talk Along Cards
* bb 仍小, 故先按 "category" 將同類別的咭抽出來.  分類如下 (可參考 guide book 的分類索引):
1. 動物
2. 顏色
3. 交通工具
4. 穿在身上的物件
5. 身體部分
等等....

每天都可以玩 Talk Along Cards, 先從第 1 個類別的咭入手, 選 3-4 張咭, 第一天看完這些咭後, 第二天就可以看同一類別之後的其他咭.  總之每天以不超過 4 張咭為原則, 可以多看幾遍也沒有問題.  當第一個類別的咭已看完後, 就可以看第二個類別的咭, 餘此類推.  看完三個類別後, 重覆再由第一個類別開始看, 一直看到第四個類別, 又再從第一個類別再看, 一直看到第五個類別, 餘此類推.

另外有數張大海報, 可以張貼在 bb 房, 或 bb 經常會到的地方, 貼近牆腳, 讓 bb 在爬行或學坐的時候可以看到/接觸到.  每隔一段時間就換上另一張新的海報, 最初可先看關於人物/動物那張.

Game Card 等可以等 bb 聽 CD, 玩 Talk Along Card 熟習了之後再逐步加進每天的課程中.

至於其他的教材, 如故事書, DVD 等, 我的 bb 目前仍小, 未用得上.  3 個月後顧問再進行家訪時, 我會再跟她討論 bb 的學習進度及反應, 到時再作調整.

希望以上可以幫得到大家.

:) 我的consultant比的意見同熊仔仔媽咪的差不多, 不過有以下可補充, 大家可依bb的進度作參考:

Sing Along
* 另一用法是: 第一先用藍色, 然後第二用綠色, 第三用青色, 第四用黃色. 每個color系列不用over 3個月, 然後依上述循環.
* 每3個月內可自由選擇用同一color系列 (e.g. 藍色)的 Sing Along CD, dvd, 書. 我bb 8個多月, 主力聽CD. 每天看1-2隻DVD, 亦可翻書本給他看, 培養他看書的習慣.

Play Along
* 聽時亦可用玩具與BB玩, 我BB好鍾意隻buzzing bee

Talk Along Cards
* 除 "category" 外, 亦可按sing along書內每首song所建議用的cards.

我的顧問並沒有給我時間表, 是我聽了她的解釋後, 自己在 diary 上編好這幾個月的使用模式, 包括每天要用的是 sing along 抑或是 play along, 以及當天要聽的咭咭等. Jayden 用了這套教材多久呢? 反應如何? 熊仔仔用了大概半個多月, 我發現他對某幾張咭特別有興趣, 例如 dog, cat, tiger 等. 最近他口中發出如獅子老虎般的咆吼聲音, 又特別喜歡海報上的 tiger, 經常笑咪咪望住隻 tiger. 我的工人話佢而家喺度模倣緊佢鍾意的嘢喎

Jayden現在8個多月. 在他2-7個月時我給他看baby einstein 及tiny love (有隻識回應隻dvd的羊公仔陪他看), 他非常喜歡, 可以目不轉睛 (當時每日只給仔看20mins), 然後聽歌仔. 他由8月26日開始使用DWE至現在的情況是:

看到咭機及書會撲埋去!! 時時伸手想自己玩部機及flip書, 但of course 他的fine motors 未得, 所以已經 meet 爛咗幾頁書

聽到familiar的歌會好開心, e.g. whats inside?, open your hands and close them.

對動物都係好敏感, 細d時已經鍾意我唱old macdonald.

對dvd興趣不大, 看5mins 已想做其他嘢 (咬嘢及crawling everywhere), 由於他出緊牙及剛master了爬及企, 是否因此distract了他就唔sure la

亦可能dwe的vcds 畫面麻麻dei, 個人認為baby einstein or tiny love 畫面豐富d. 我c6時時話: 仔, 套嘢幾萬蚊ga, 你一定要鍾意睇呀!

i think i can answer you this question,
i have bought the whole set including the step-by-step, my baby will be born at December 2007.

my opinion is not to buy the step-by-step yet, but you have to check the price for buying it later....

not that the content of Step-by-step is no good, but,

becasue i found that step-by-step is too advance , it is suppose for kids around age3-4 ka. Including DVD for the activities , and a blue drawer (quite large) and the material for artworks... no CDs for listening.

i now look at them and i am afraid they will update the content later in time which my baby will be using out-date verison at her age ...(hope not)

anyway, you should ask your consultant clearly ... about the price arrangement, they usually tell you if you choose to pay by installment, the step-by-step set can't pay like that unless you buy together with the whole...

that's their only point, cus you baby is too young for the step by step.

bythe way, if you know the price buying it seperately, pls tell me, ... i am considering to sell the Step-by-step...

I quite agreed with 大寶寶, in addition to that, i think my son will have far more choice than step by step when hes 4-5 yrs old. I bought the "Super Mickey" set, that is the set at $39900, without step by step.

"baby einstein 及tiny love (有隻識回應隻dvd的羊公仔陪他看)" is not part of DWE. They are what we have got before we bought DWE. but i must say i quite like Tiny Love cos its animation is very nice and my son still loves to watch it after these months. however, my son doesnt really like to watch play along already... :-|

我的意見跟 JaydenBB 一樣, 也是暫時不會買 Step by Step.  因為 bb 現在還小, 只得幾個月大,  Step by Step 對他來說現在還用不上, 況且幾年後我相信 DWE 會出新的版本 (我想這是他們的市場策略, 以杜絕全新版本在二手市場流傳), 到時再考慮要不要這一套了.  除了  Step by Step 外, 另外兩套我沒有買的是 Micky Leap Pad 和 Let's Play.  不過我見到 bb 對這類電子發聲書很感興趣, 所以我相信待bb 大一點的時候我很可能會買.  至於 Let's Play, 我覺得好像是以做勞作為主, 價錢而言不太值得, 所以可能不會考慮了.

Baby Einstein - 我的 bb 很小時我給他看過, 但他不太喜歡.  可能是內容有點慢的緣故吧....  我見過在玩具反斗城有售.

i saw baby einstein for sale in MotherCare and some CD shops. the tiny love was given to Jayden on his babyshower by a friend, she got it from B-Mart In Macao (i live in Macao), but im sure you can find it in some established baby stores in HK, cos Tiny love is a very well-know brand too. the set that i have got is for babies 3mths to 12 mths. it also got one set for 12 mths to 36 mths.

I have double check: the super Mickey set was $39000, not 39900, and the only difference between Super Mickey set and Disney set was 1. Mickey Leap pad and 2. lets play. If u bundle buy them (i.e. buying the Disney set, its $48500), yet if u buy it separately, i will cost $13000+. however, i still think it worths to wait and see how Jayden is going when hes older. and yes, Super Mickey set has got Step by Step already. I mistook it as Lets Play before

各位mami (如現在用dwe) 可否講下大家用後的意見,我本人囝囝一歲開始用,使用了兩個多月他對動物十分有興趣常常指poster的動物有些已經識續eg.dog,butterfly,tiger,bird,bee,worm,etc
他對play along 開始時沒有興趣,現在開始模仿dvd小朋友動作,我也十分開心,剛剛開始希望真的有用啦. (下過要父母用很多時間陪伴一齊學習),我未知是否dwe幫助有待觀察.妳們呢?比些心得或意見.

我的 bb 不經不覺已經用了 DWE 差不多個多月, 我發覺佢對 Micky, Minnie 等角色都好有反應, 佢非常鍾意 Micky 的音樂盒, 食奶都要望住佢. 玩咭都 ok 的, 對眼會跟住張咭望嚟望去. 書就非常喜歡, 有時睇得太肉緊幾乎想撕爛本書... 佢只得 6 個月, 我唔期望佢會好快識講英文 (亦唔可能), 但我希望每日潛移默化, 日子有功可以打好英語基礎.

係呀, 我都搵緊普通話教材. 我上星期去咗 Page One, 但係冇咩選擇. 我諗住遲 d 去商務同 Swindon 睇吓, 有冇適合俾 bb 學習的材料. 如果大家有其他心水請介紹一下

. "Micky 的音樂盒" 是否dwe的一部分? 我覺5-6個月用dwe好好, 因佢mobility不大, 專注力亦好. Jayden依家剛足9mths, 因認知ability好咗, 知道身邊有其他事on going, 看dvd時會玩吓其他嘢, 爬來爬去. 記得佢8mths前 (未crawl and stand 前), 看dvd時可以眼都唔斬ga

佢對書同cards都係非常鍾意, d cards都比佢 "lin chao" 哂la!

至於mandarin, 我只係諗到唐詩3百首, 比佢聽吓, get familiar with mandarin. 或者later post 個topic 睇吓有無mami有心得先:) 如果你有好發現記住話我知ya:D

果個 Mickey 音樂盒係我喺 bb 展 confirm order 時送的禮物, 只係一個好普通的音樂盒, 打開後 Micky 會自轉, 音樂係 Thank You Song.

我的顧問之前都有同我講過 bb 大個活動能力較高時, 玩咭咭或睇書書等都會較容易分心, 所以細個的 bb 會較易集中. 但我相信呢套教材係要花時間, 效果先會慢慢出嚟. 我亦唔會心急, 總之持之以恒就應該會有成效啦.

好慚愧，Ian未出世已買左套dwe，不過一直無set time table，係早前問JaydenBB拎左個schedule參考，先發現原來買左唔少教材（e.g.dwe、apple tree、baby can read、gc o既數點、三字經同英文flash card，還有其他bb書

），都係Ian噚日9個月大先開始實行個schedule，暫時都ok，不過下午個play time同nap time就成日調轉（因為Ian成日係床仔個幾兩個鐘先肯nap:tongue: ），apple time暫時唔會用住（貪平買左先），要等佢大d識自己拎筆先用，gc flash card就分早、午、晚用，每次都三種card一齊，今日見佢都ok，其他dwe同baby can read o既dvd and cd同會同佢隔日用，每個月都換一次level，佢daddy放假就係break day

，果日係屋企就會求其播
套三字經你可選廣東話版or國語版，另可加錢買另一隻，因為我怕廣東話都未必讀得好，所以要廣東話先，遲d先再買國語版，佢好似岩岩先開完倉，應該無咁快會再有big sale:tongue:

agreed w/ Ian 媽媽! im a working mum, but i have just been a fulltime mom for 10 days (cos my helper went back to phillippines for holidays).  I found that my  day were crazily busy, and i tried very hard in order to stick to the schedule i set our for Jayden.  Lucky i received help from my mother-in-law and husband.  The time table was for my helper to follow, but i will insist on watching Play along and read books to Jayden everyday myself.

I have got the Apple Tree as well ( i bought it b4 i bought DWE).  I also got Winner the Pooh Frist Reader set and Mrs and misses (德育stories) as gifts.  Apple Tree is good too cos it got 40 ｅ索寓言的德育stories +japanese + mandarin learning. However, i think Apple Tree is more suitable for bigger toddlers, say 2 years or above. it not until then they will understand the stories and how to use the smart pen. so i will wait for a while before letting Jayden use it.

果套 Clifford Big Red Dog DVD, 我啱啱買咗啦. 係用蘋果日報報頭加 $180 換的. 一共 10 隻 DVD, 有雙語. 我頭先睇咗幾分鐘, 係 d 簡單的故事同動畫 (即係 bb 啱睇, 大人可能覺得單調果種). 我諗當故事睇都 ok 的, 但因為唔係好專注慢慢講或唱好多歌, 我諗唔好當教材睇, 以為小朋友睇完會自動識講普通話/英文. 唔緊要吖, 反正唔貴, 咪第日俾 bb 得閑睇一兩個故事囉. 反正我之前冇買 Noddy, 但係都幾鍾意 Noddy 以教品德為重點呢個概念, 咁呢套 Clifford 就可以補充輔助 DWE 囉. 話時話, 我睇過好多教材, 覺得 Noddy 其實 d 動畫幾靚, 不過有人話吸引與否, 係我哋從大人的角度去睇, 對小朋友而言, 最平凡最簡單的 DVD (即係唔一定係好 3D 好 colorful 的) 已經 ok 了. 真係有好多理論好多講法, 我覺得自己認為合適, 同埋真係有心機同小朋友用就可以了.

各位mami, 你哋有否按play along dvd比有關的toys 比bb 玩? 覺得效果點? 我認為 although Jayden 好鍾意 d toys, 但有時會因為d toys太多而分心.

用了dwe about 2 mths, Jayden (9+ mths now) 對好多單字已有response, 有時佢亂攪嘢, 同佢講 stop or no, 佢真係會停, 有時仲會有個唔likey但唔敢違抗的表情!

佢最鍾意duck, 我話duck時, 佢會回應 "ga ga" (quak,quak 鴨叫). 最happy 是佢一聽到bedtime songs 已知要 zzzz, 10首songs之內就會自己 zzzzzz. 有時我會諗係咪自己imagination 好, 覺得阿仔學到嘢

but anyway, 我已覺得開心.

我未用住套 Clifford 呀, 因為係故事嚟, 我諗住等熊仔仔大個少少先至睇. 其實我平時好少俾熊仔仔睇電視, 因為我唔想佢睇太多電視. 我個教育顧問之前同我強調, 話 DWE 的主打並唔係 DVD, 而係其他內容, 佢話 bb 現時仲細 (6 個月), 最好俾佢聽熟咗 d 歌/CD 同玩咭咭先, 等佢大少少再俾佢睇埋 d DVD, 到時就事半功倍. 我比較多同佢聽歌仔/故事, 玩咭咭同睇書書, d Play Along 的玩具我有拆出嚟同佢玩吓, 佢都 ok 鍾意. 有樣嘢我冇做的, 就係冇俾熊仔仔經常聽 wake up songs 同 bedtime songs. 佢喺好固定的時間就會醒, 一醒就食奶, 夜晚食完奶後亦都好快就會瞓覺 (抱住佢哦一陣就攪掂), 所以冇聽歌囉. 不過呀, 我覺得 bb 真係不知不覺吸收咗 d 內容架. 前幾日我帶 bb 去做檢查, 佢喺度喊郁嚟郁去, 我哋用盡辦法佢都扭計, 後來我同佢唱 What's your name, my name is Micky 跟住工人同佢講, Micky is here! 佢真係收咗聲喎. 有時 daddy 扮 Micky 把聲同佢講嘢, 佢同好似好有興趣咁.

前幾日有長輩同我講, 咁細個的 bb 其實不斷喺度吸收知識同學習, 佢會留意到身邊的事物, 父母的行為, 然後到佢識得講嘢同做動作的時候, 就會表現返出嚟. 所以而家即使有時好似佢有佢玩, 我都會堅持同佢玩咭咭, 睇書書, 俾佢聽歌仔. 我非常相信終有一天大家都會見到成果. 願大家共勉之.

do u think is worth to buy DWE? i went to their show room to look at the item yesterday, i like it but of cousre expensive la, the sales told me was $39000, but i find out that it miss out "story book with right-light activity item" it costs me another $4500, therefore totally $43500, it makes me not really comfortable so i couldnt make the decision to buy it yesterday ..........of course i love the whole set, but still thinking thinking and thinking ...... any suggestion for me .... one of my friend want to sell her set to me, of course dont have membership la ... is the membership very important??? or i should buy a new whole set for my baby .... pls kindly give suggestion la ....... thank you thank you thank you

! e, 咁熊仔仔對mickey真係情有所鍾, if 遲d 你帶佢disneyland 佢一定好happy! 係呀, bb 0-6 歲真係好重要, 基本上奠定咗佢以後的人格發展! 有時同jayden玩 cards時佢會爬來爬去, 呢幾日我玩cards時就放佢係bubble seat, 佢就乖乖咁watch the cards la, instead of "lin chao" 哂d cards.

sin: i think membership is important becos: you can change the books/cards/cds when they wear out, you can join telephone english and other activities and workshops. i have joined 6yrs membership for Jayden in one goal:D a lot of mommies here bought the super mickey set at $39000 and its good enough already for toddlers up to 4-5 years (how old is your baby?). how much is ur friend selling you the DWE for? in my opinion, if its less than half prices, e.g. under $1.5K and your baby is over 2 years (wont bite and tear off books and cards so often), its worth to buy as a supplementary material.

我都有開部分play along的玩具俾個女玩,佢都好鍾意,但當佢睇緊play along dvd時,用玩具同佢玩,佢就會只顧搶樣玩具,唔俾佢就會忟憎

,最鐘意人同佢玩做動作up and down, dancing, peekaboo, running, clap your hands........玩完我都累

,有時見佢悶就唱歌俾佢,佢就會笑:loveliness:

... my baby is six months now, i think i will buy a new set as u all suggest that membership is very important, buy how much does it cost to buy (eg. 6 yrs) membership ... i know is $1560 per year ... quite alot too ... we still need to pay until bb is 4 to 5 yrs old

... anyway hope we can join together as our baby are same age, we have be friends lei ... hehe ... so u suggest no need to buy the "story-book and right-light activity part" is thinking of this part, but only 4-5 bks plus 4cd as i remember its seem doesnt worth $4500 which is i do not feel comfortable with as the sales didnt tell me b4, i my heart just feel i just miss out something even i pay $39000 to buy the super micky set(which i think is whole set apart from lets play ... sad) anyway i will probably go n buy it these few day(i wish i can make a choice to buy n have enough money, cos im the only one to pay for the whole set

除咗價錢的考慮因素之外, 當然其他媽咪所講的會籍亦好重要. 你可以免費更換或維修破損的教材 (玩具/貼紙等不包括在內) , 另外我覺得比較重要的係原裝買 DWE 可保証版本係最 updated 的.  據我所知, 有部分教材係今年新的, 我仲有幾套 DVD/CD 要年底先攞到手.  我都知市面上有好多二手 DWE, 但係你諗吓, 一般家長都會最少用幾年先至賣, 但係往往幾年後套教材已經有某 d 部分係 update 咗的, 即係話市面上的二手貨係幾年前的嘢, 又冇人跟進 (姑勿論個顧問好唔好, 最低限度仲有間公司可以俾你問嘢), 咁其實套二手教材同其他的教材冇咩分別, 只係父母自己揣摩點用, 點教 bb.  如果係咁的話, 真係要好平好抵先值得買囉.  否則的話, 咁貴買一套教材返嚟, 又唔知點用, 可能冇咩效果跟住就放棄, 豈不是嘥哂?

你個 bb 仲細, 得 6 個月 (我個 bb 都係差不多), 我建議你先買套 $3900 Super Micky + Step by Step 啦, 其他的等 bb 大少少先再買, 反正到時分分鐘又有新版本, 係貴少少啫.  會籍方面, 由於你 bb 只有 6 個月, 通常 DWE 會幫你延遲第一年的年籍, 直至 bb 足 1 歲大先開始.  之後的會籍係逐年交的, Jayden 媽咪一次交 6 年, 我唔知詳情呀.  如果你有懷疑或暫時未有信心, 唔駛咁心急即刻交錢吖, 等用咗一排之後先諗囉.  會籍除咗可以俾你更換同維修之外, 仲可以參加活動, 當然好多都要俾錢啦 (如 playgroup, massage class, 旅行等等), 亦有免費的項目, 例如家長交流會 (會籍生效後先可參加), 家傭班, 免費電話美語 (一個月 2 次)等等.  以上資料係我的顧問話我聽的, 以及我從佢哋 d 月刊知道的.  你有疑問的話, 記得問清楚你個顧問呀.

我諗大家 bb 的反應都好類似, 鍾意搶 d 咭, 整縐佢, 然後掉咗佢! 我個仔鍾意睇故事書, 自己會不停想揭本書, 又係搞到本書縐哂! 我有同 bb 玩 game card 呀, d 內容的確同故事書/咭咭等重覆, 我諗係故意的, 希望加深個小朋友的記憶啩. 我當係 flash card 或普通字咭同 bb 玩囉. 你個 bb 鍾唔鍾意 d poster? 我個 bb 見親張 poster 都好開心, 有時坐喺梳化, 遠遠見到張 poster 就喺度笑.

jayden 的6年會籍是這樣得來的:

買dwe時送1年會籍, consultant幫我哋postpone個會籍由jayden1歲開始, 即jayden足兩歲前membership都係free. 另外買dwe一段時間內政部(好似是30日內)可買membership package (2,4,6,10年), 我買了4年約$5700 (送了telephone english and Zippy sing along),所以jayden足6歲前都有membership la. 我覺得dwe如果用到6年都唔怕浪費lu.:)

未同jayden玩game cards, 我以為要大d (e.g. 2歲) 先玩? jaydden好鍾意玩up and down, 時時同佢玩我而家都大隻咗ar!

make sure that the volume is not too soft, then bring the lamb close to the speakers. there is a flamingo at the very very beginning of the video, making some "chi chi" sound. the doll should be activated after the flamingo has walked past.

i have already tried so many time, but still doesnt work, therefore i will take it back to 'toy r us' lei ....... finally ... i think i will buy english time rather than DWE la, cos i have seen both material, i finally find that the content of english time seem better than DWE, even tho' english time's cartoon is not that good looking, but my hushand like the content better ............. therefore i think i will go with english time la ..... what a pity that i cant join u mummy :cry: ........but we can still keep in touch ar

At first i couldnt sychronise the doll with the DVD too, i thought it got a problem but then my hubby changed the HI FI status into "stereo" instead of the one with surrounds. Then he switched on the doll, play the DVD and put the doll in right in front of the speakers when the Flamingo was walking at the beginning of the video, then it worked! and its so much fun, even now Jayden loves it still! when he watched it yesterday, he hugged the doll (it is Tickle the Lamb) and rested his head on the lamb's head when watching the video in his bumble seat

I also bought DWE when my baby one month (July 07), my consultant suggest, change one series after 2 month. Now my baby Ryan listen the CD only every day.

Actually there are many ways to implement DWE, some mommies were advised to change every month, some every 2 months, and myself every 3 months. i think all are OK as long as your baby can cope with it. sometimes you need to make judgement according to your instincts being a mommy. 努力 !

, however, im also using baby einstein and tiny love on my son. there are loads of teaching materials on the market for babies and kids, and their main objectives are to stimulate their brain development and let them have a good start on language learning, logical thinking etc.

which material/s have u heard or got to know of? and which ones are u choosing from now?
