i WANT TO KNOW TOO
BECAUSE i HAD RECEIVED THE ACCEPTANCE LETTER OF ANFIELD AND i NEED TO PAY $10900 FOR THE SEAT B4 08DEC ,HOWEVER IT'S NON REFUNDABLE AND MY 1 ST CHOICE IS ESF~~~
WHAT CAN i DO??

anfield $5700 per month, all the teacher are native english speaker (most of them are indian) and there 's also PTH teacher ,anyway, no chinese or cantonese in the school campus~~~

Mandarin Mandarin is a feature of our programme and all kindergarten children will receive at least 30 minutes of Mandarin instruction per day.

they said the letter should be mailed
around Dec 20
which means I also need to go pay the

I just call the lady at Tsing Yi Kinder, who is working at Admin. Section. She is very nice.
She explains that they did not know the random list.
For example, they will invite 50 parents before Christmas for visiting school at Jan 08. Then they will send 50 letters at Jan for Feb 08 tour; 50 letters at Feb for Mrach tour, and ........................ They will organize 4 or 5 tours until all vacancy are filled.
If you cannot receive the letter at Dec, you may receive later until 17/3/08 tour, or put on the waiting list.
Parent can just wait and wait. I told her that many parent have to pay the deposit for secure the placement of other school. She understand but cannot help us, as the scheme is control by central.
She also receives more call from parent.

I just called the office and the staff said ESF TY Still have not received the information from their center therefore they have not sent out any letter yet. They said the letters are ready but just have not received the name list from their center yet. So I guess we still have to wait and wait...good luck to all Mums.

We have just got the letter from ESF Tsing Yi as well. We are so happy about it.
If we got the letter and being invited for the tour, it means 100% being accepted, right?

Agree. This is the best Christmas gift this year because I could save a few thousand dolloar deposit of another school which is due in the first week of Jan.

I also received Waiting List letter...very disappointed. Does any one know how the waiting list works when there is any place available in the later days??? Does anyone know how many applicants on the waiting list this year in TY? Can we try to call the school and check what is the priorty no. of our kid on the waiting list???
