1/12 interview , accepted in PM class. I am very, very happy because Heep Yunn is my first choise, so lucky. However, I have a little bit worry because my kid go to bed early every night and get up early in the morning. So, she must take a sleep in the afternoon (about 2 hours). I am worried about how can she take a sleep when she is in PM class.
Do any parents have some advice to me?

Although one is assigned to AM sesion for K1, K3 classes are PM sessions anyway. If one does not reckon HY as an excellent kindergarten, why applied in the first place?

噢, 我不知道k3是pm班呀...:cry: 我當初遞表時, 被朋友誤導, 話協恩是一條龍, 可以直升小學, 中學, 所以選它. 朋友後來才澄清協恩並無一條龍, 要參加小一派位, 所以有保留.
加上在bk上看不到有什麼有關協恩具體的優點, 只知道很多人追捧. 至於有關它有很多課外活動和活動教學, 我見很多學校都有此特點, 並非只有協恩有, 這亦不是它的優點.
在面試時看見學校的校內通告都是以中文為主...我懷疑它的英文程度只是一般....

I think notices are for communicating important information and messages to parents and students. Notices written in English or Chinese doesn't mean anything. Sending a kid to school is not just for learning English. Biliteracy and trilingualism are what we expect our kids to achieve. More importantly, the purpose of sending our kids to school is to learn skills such as collabration, communication, creativity...etc. English is only a tiny part of education.

However, I see most accepted kids have no religion background so my assumption seems wrong ... :-|
anyway, I like HY so much because I know students from this school come from all walks of life and they are judged by their ability but not their background ...
I know many mums are aiming at some primary schools they consider are even better than HY but think twice before you choose. My friend's daughter is studying at a famous primary school at YMT now and she tell her mum to take taxi to pick her up. Why? Her daughter said most of her classmates are picked up by private car so if they walk to school every day, no one will play with her ... so sad ... really so sad to hear that ... :cry:

I live in Tseung Kwan O and I also want to move to Tokwawan. But I know the rent of some new flats is very high. If I don't move, my daughter will take a school bus.

Do you know how long does it take to go to school by school bus every day? It takes 40 min from my home to Kowloon Tong now and HY is even further away ... :cry:

我姑奶教幼稚園, 佢都有 visited 過協恩, 同佢地傾過佢地收生嘅標準, 佢地主要收大女, 同埋乖巧聽話, 你叫佢行東, 佢唔會行西嘅小朋友, 另外有關係同埋舊生/家姐响度讀過嘅小朋友, 住處亦會作考慮, 佢地唔想個小朋友搭咁奈車, 返到學校都已經累晒先上堂.

Thanks for your information. My daughter was quite obedient at the interview. When the teacher showed her a pear and asked her what it was, she didn't know the answer. Then the teacher said it was a pear. My daughter repeated after the teacher. I think the teacher did not care whether she could answer the question, but how she responded to her.
