各位好 ... 小兒已報讀了09-10年王錦輝小學, 現正等安排面試.. 請問有沒有人知道面試形式是怎樣的呢 ?? 家長需否接受面試 ??

我尚未收到面試通知的, 只不過想知過往的大概情況 ... 學校的網頁有提及面試大約在 28/8 - 30/8 日舉行...

上年面試日,我們早到了,一心要等,但很好當我們報到後小兒很快便可安排入去面試(學校此安排很好免得小朋友因等得太久而不耐煩),
小朋友幾個一組由老師帶入考試,家長就做問卷,大約幾十分鐘,小朋友每人都拿一圖出來, 不過阿仔問了很久才問到D,有自由創作圖,
單獨表演(最好是孩子最熟的就得了,千萬不要使孩無信心,有信心的,就是唱首兒歌,都是會表現出光茫的.)還有一些英語對答和日常的生活問題,仔仔話問他如在機場不見了爸媽會點?吖!我都想問你會點答?
家長面試,要小孩入圍後,才會再寄信通知的.上年是小組討論,而聽說往年是由主任分別接見每對家長的.

今年封信無提到"天才表演"呢part,所以我琴日打電話去問下....聽電話果個姐姐話我:今年唔會安排天才表演喎!

上年問卷是以中文作答的,好似問題都是圍繞有關學校及對子女的問題.
不過看你們的發表,看來今年面試的形式都也有所改變了.

學校那方面最吸引你報讀,點睇家校合作?
而囝囝in完出嚟就冇乜特別,
話中文文題就全部都有答,但英文就答得兩題

昨日in完, 家長問卷係中文, 好似係九題, 我太太答前一板(係問D around學校理念既野, 我冇太留意, 好似問d子女與學校既野), 我答後面果板(有關家長對學校既附出 : 你點睇家長義工呢樣野, 你會否讚成家長要報讀校內一些course, 要加俾家長讀既話有咩見議, 你可以為學校既服務範圍係咩, 另有一段係你既自由感想...呢題唔一定要答, 唔算係question), 交果陣我就順便夾埋07~08年我身為小女學校PTA時做果份年報入去, 因為成本野係我一手一腳做晒既, D老師及PTA委員都拍晒手掌 (好耐冇試過俾人咁歡呼+掌聲啦

好感動) 入面也有我寫果首新詞新曲既PTA會歌, 幾大都show D 野好過冇啦.

重有係...家長唔洗見老師既, 只係小朋友入左去成40分鐘, 又中英問答又畫圖.

By my understanding, if the candidate is successful.....the parents interview will be scheduled.......!

they said result will be annouce end of OCT, is that 2nd interview for parents result or confirm admission result??

joeyjoeychan,

The result announced in Oct-2008 should be the result of the 1st round interview. If your child's 1st round interview is success, then you will get the 2nd round interview chance. If you also pass the 2nd round interview, then, congratulations, your child can get a place in that school.

I called the school today, 2nd interview will be scheduled in Sept, letter will be sent to the applicant who is successful in the 1st interview. After 2nd interview with parents, final offer will be out before end Oct.

Anybody know how many applicants this year. As I know only 100 seats available. In view of 50 seats has been reserved for HKBUK.

Where did you get the information from? My elder son studies there and my younger son has applied this year. There are 5 p.1 classes and 30 students in each class. Therefore A-school takes 150 p.1 students every year. Besides, I don't think students of HKBUK will not have much advantage since the year of 2007-2008. A-schools took all the applicants from HKBUK in the year of 2006 because the kindergarten promised the parents so. However, only 10% of the total mark were added to the applicants from this kindergarten in the year of 2007. I am not sure about last year and this year but I'm quite sure that the performance of the child during the interview is the most important factor.

我打電話去學校問如果1st round小朋友已OK，家長面試信會在20/9之前收到，若20/9都收不到就可打電話去查核一吓!

1st round 小朋友已ok 的家長面試信會在 9月底前寄出
冇話會係 9月20日前收信
