Summary of 2007-2008 Annual Report

* 52 out of 84 F.7 graduates were admitted by HKU, CUHK and HKUST. The other 32 went to other local universities or universities overseas.

* HK A Level Exam: 100% pass rate in 12 subjects, including Use of Engish (UE), Chinese Language and Culture, Pure Maths and Liberal Studies, which are the 4 core subjects. Credit/distinction % : UE 84%, Liberal Studies 81%, Physics 83.3%, Chemistry 91.7%;
279 A to C grades / 84 students

* HKCEE: Average credit/distinction % of all subjects; 61.9%; 932 A to C grades / 197 students;
Credit/distinction % : English 80.2%, Physics 93.3%, Chemistry 98.3%, Art 100%;
10 students got 6A or more

* For 24 consecutive years, Heep Yunn School is the OVERALL CHAMPION in the Interschool Girls' Sports in Division 1, Hong Kong & Kowloon and winner of the BOC Bauhinia Bowl.
Of the 15 sports participated, HYS won:
Champions in 7 sports: Basketball, Fencing, Handball, Lifesaving, Squash, Volleyball and Beach Volleyball;
1st runners-up in 5 sports: Badminton, Cross-country, Swimming, Table-tennis and Tennis;
2nd runners-up in 2 sports: Athletics and Softball.
All students take P.E lessons which offer training for 14 sports. The annual sports day had a participation rate of over 90%. Sports in HYS is not the privilege of an elite few, but a common daily practice for all.
