To: those parents who have made up their mind for their kids and registered with a no. of DSS or private schools

Appreciate if the other seats can be released for other kids the soonest. It's really painful for parents as well as the kids to keep waiting till 6/09.

好啦, 我今天終於收到心儀學校的offer啦, 我會打電話同kts及krs講, 放出學位, 希望其他小朋友早日wait到學位吧。(不過我不知道這個時候打電話去有沒有用? 定話一定要等到六月, 盡人事啦!)

Support, I was in the same situation a week ago while i am still on waiting list. i understand how it feels to think that the ordeal needed to go on until next year - the final draw. But now i and my wife were relieved that my son got an offer a week ago. So i hope other parents who have not got offer yet will soon have good news.
I urge parents that have several offers on hand do release those that you have no intention to go.

I didn't register KTS even though there was no registration fee required. I will also release 音小 after the holiday.

請問係咪所有學校(私/津/直資)都係6月10日要註冊?
如果係,咁咪通常都要等到果日之後先知有無位放出黎囉!

私校/直資interview出結果之後, 就會要求學生去註冊(一般係10-12月), 通常要俾幾百蚊留位費, 不過有d家長唔志在, 呢間又留, 果間又留..........就算決定唔要, 都要等到7月左右, 真係需要做校服交學費, 至正式通知學校話唔讀

俾d同情心出黎, 俾其他等offer既人一個希望啦

ore seats will only be released after the completion of second round allocation. Poor parents ! Have to be patient and wait till June.

Last year, my daughter's classmate had 4 schools in hand and I didn't understand why her mom had to registered all. Why couldn't she just keep the best and release the rest ?

I agree. It seems that we are waiting for our luck, but have no idea when it will come. No matter how hard we work, no luck will come by if those registered with n schools are not forfeiting.

我沒有為亞囡考任何直資或私小, 只抽資助學校. 考了幾家好的直資或私小學校, 15/16未決定都無可厚非.

但都希望既然有能力或決定讀直資或私小的家長, 請不要 hold 住資助學位不放, 希望給沒能力的家長的小朋友有個好的機會入讀好的資肋小學.

If it is for money, why didn't you go for spcc? spcc's remission scheme is the most generous I have ever seen. You can easily get approved for normal middle-class family.

Do you actually prefer la salle to spcc?

有好多人係比得起學費, 不過如果有一間係唔錯既學校, 又係免費, 點解唔讀呢? 而且好多middle class既收入都會over requirement.

I know someone who are holding LOGOs but waiting for EC and someone who are holding EC waiting for LOGOs.

Let me reply your question:
The reason for me give up theose school instead of Logos are:

1. Logos 11 years strategy plan and completed the entirely Primary and Secondary School attract me.

2. Logos appears have a critical review for the needs of the actual condition (change the FS,DS and MS stage from 3+5+3 to 2+5+4 a creative stragegy planning for curriculum.

3. Alleged adopt the IB mode. (but not sure when to fully adopt or half of class adopt and another half just for local mode).

I'm bit concern the item 3, IB mode adoption.

According to my understanding, GT, Logos and CKY also alleged to adopt the IB mode.

The other reason why give up those schools, I think I don't want to comment, because the reason might be so subjective.
