幼兒學界已有準備應付停課決定

食物及衞生局局長周一嶽將會與學校議會和校長會代表開會，商討防控人類感染豬型流感的安排。獲邀出席會議的香港幼稚園協會主席唐少勳表示，業界已有準備，應付當局一旦宣布停課。唐少勳說，大部份幼稚園或幼兒中心，已經為學生準備好工作紙或習作等，假如需要停課，學生可以在家繼續學習，而學校亦會趁機加強校園清潔。她又說，局方代表上週已經與業界開會，收集他們對停課的意見。

In fact I dont really quite understand the mentality. Say after 2 weeks' suspension, new flu cases keep on coming up, do we need to suspend another fortnight? This swine flu is bound to come and it is impossible to stop it from spreading. I am a working mum and I do not have a helper and I really dont know what to do if suddenly schools hv to close for 2 weeks. People from the States are saying Obama is very relaxed about swine flu and said flu or new virus happen every year. The Americans do not seem to worry about it. I dont mean they are right but just wonder what is the reason behind it.
