想知道有無SFA的家長及小朋友讀得開心?

讀得開唔開心, 就真係好睇小朋友能否跟得上. 跟得上, 功課同考試都OK, 自然就開心. 其實想知道多些有關SFA既資料, 除咗上BK, 自己可以去買SFA既課本番黎睇吓, 一般係ENG - 高1級, MATHS – 高半級, 中文就同其他學校一樣.

當年仲未開始選學校時, 好似係K2時, 我已經去買SFA D 課本番黎睇, 睇吓自己教小朋友既野同SFA差幾遠. 在K3之前打好個低, 上小學係好舒服.

因為負面聽得多，想聽D正面評語。e.g 做功課幾耐? 是否需要額外補習？

我也想知道這間學校多些資料,我本來決定讀這間學校,但有些家長對我說有小朋友也不好讀這間學校,因為大人和小朋友也好辛苦,我聽了個心也有動搖,因我是要工作的媽媽,我好怕handle唔到,大家比些信心我吧,我是否決定錯呢!

聽講好多功課，程度較深，谷得幾勁以保校譽，讀得預左小朋友會辛苦，但唔辛苦又點會成績好！

Hi,

SFA並不是如外傳般可怕, 當初都好似你們担心處理不好而傷害到小朋友。現在升4年級了, 他還很喜歡上學而且有可喜的進步, 有固定時間練琴及操水。
但要有心理準備同小朋友安排妥善的時間, 及要自律。
其實是否谷, 主要看 : (1)小朋友能力及性格, (2)要求去到的層次(好似100名後不排名次)
小小資料希望幫到你做到"較好"的選擇, 如其他BK fans說: 該沒有一所完美的學校。

多謝你的資料,我驚學校太谷令到小朋友唔鐘意返學咁就慘啦,是否需要補習才近得上?每星期也有要默2樣書,考試有範圍讀嗎?

Hi,
我小朋友由幼稚園K2-K3開始漸進自己學習做homework, 所以小一無出現問題, 只是新的學習較忙, 下學期己漸入佳境。
每星期有中,Eng默各一次, 不太多, 也極少背默。反而我覺得背默對將來作文更有益。
考試當然有明確的範圍, 在～2-3星期前收到。
幸好我小朋友能力Ok及好勝, 他沒補習。剩下的$都投放在琴,游水,晝本上。
如果決定了, 就不要再担優, 將心情及時間投放在小朋友身上, 作好準備才是上策。

Hi there,

My daughter is with SFA now. She was transferred from an international school to SFA for P1 this year. So far so good! She told me that she is more happy at SFA than in ESF Schools. Well.. for me, I feel that the school teachers have a way to make their students behave properly and happy to learn at school. My daughter does her homework daily and she took one-to-two hours for maximum. She does other activities such as swimming (3x a week), Chinese classes (3x a week due to her poor chinese background at international school) and others. Still we manage to handle well and sleep at 9:30pm as latest. I guess this could be a good guideline to you..

我嗰日交表都等左成個半小時..我交咁多間直資同私小..我覺得sfa係最差的...d家長係出面等成個小時..曬到不得了..入面個hall有好多位..但"吉"晒..個d位其實可以家長企..咁唔使我地企係出面咁曬咁辛苦..仲有交表只得一日.太少了..所以咁多人迫埋一齊交表...

Just 4-5 homework a day... Not too much.

However, you would spend more time on revising all subjects.

Hi there,

My kid studies in SFA for 1 month. So far, he is happy to study in this school. He spends around 1 hour (sometimes a bit longer) to finish the homework, and there is no homework on weekend. I can say there is less homework than his previous kindergarten.

SFA has a lot of activities (ECA). This school encourages students to learn music, sports, and participate different external competition.

Further, it is better you are a housewife rather than a working mom. You have to spend time to study with your kid if you choose this school.

I can only use one word to describe my feeling now: more than satisfy. That's all my comments uptonow.

我囝囝依家讀k2, 我都開始留意小一既情況,

我想問一問, SFA是否有直升既中學 ? 我住將軍澳, 有無校車到? 上學同放學時間係幾點?

小兒今年小一,讀了一個月,很適應及好開心. 目前功課都沒有外界講的恐怖..起碼好少抄書...藍田李小強的功課比聖方濟各還要多.

check the school website. it has a timetable for TKO areas. i remember it says 6:40am getting on school bus; ~4:30 getting off school bus. check your exact pickup point.

交表只得一日.太少了..所以咁多人迫埋一齊交表...I think the school is not considerate enough, how would it be considerate for the children ?

Hi Amymitpro,

You can go to SFA website to check their ECA (extra curricular activities). This year, she requests students to learn music. Besides, just like other school, she has Sports Day, Picnic, etc.

In addition, students (by school bus) have to arrive school by 7:30 am. This is the rule from the school bus's company. Then, students can play in the playground or chat with their classmates.

我去年交表都排咗1個半小時隊, 其實我估係因為有好多課外活動係星期六舉行, 所以唔想分咁多日收表. 影響到啲要上課外活動的同學. 仲有interview, 又係成個等鍾tim.

仔仔返咗一個月多學, 非常開心.功課又唔多, 仲有小朋友可以係班主任堂時做功課.基本上, 我都係同佢check功課多過做功課.
