今個星期六報名日, 唔知有幾多人呢, 希望無上次聖保羅堂咁虛陷啦! 請問去中環交form 定是畢拉山呀…or 兩間都得??

一定多人啦......因為有無offer 既都一定會去試下麻 !!!!! 因為在港島區既名校已經所剩無幾架啦.......但佢有保育..都係一個令家長十分頭痛既問題.....重好似話會考慮唔要政府既學券 ???

I"ll apply it,too, because mine is a boy and he has the offer of Truelight in am class and Rhenish in pm class,however, I don't want to let him attend in pm section and I don't know will I get the am section place or not from the Rhenish eventually,so I still want another option in case. Poor mom!!!!!

細?? 我又唔覺得細喎, 我反而覺得畢拉山個 campus 好過中環好多! 不過根據 SKH website:

"為配合香港聖公會主教山重建計劃，畢拉山校舍地段將有神學院及幼稚園等發展建築項目，為免影響畢拉山校學童的健康及安全，本校積極考慮暫借合適的臨時校舍作過渡安排，有關過渡日期、時間及地點仍在探討中。"

就算收左都唔知有冇機會係畢拉山上堂~

I have talked to the principle when I visited their school last Nov. She said there are more seats for the Central campus:

Central Campus - 120 seats (AM + PM)
Mt. Butler - 60 seats (only AM)

According to parents who have kids at SKH, they said famous primary like DGJS, SPCC takes more kids (in terms of %) from Central campus more than Mt. Butler.

Not sure if this is true. Correct me if I am wrong.

I have never heard about this...
I'm wondering...is everybody doing the interview on the same day? Mine was yesterday and I applied the central campus.

3. who brings you to interview? if the child doesn't answer, the teacher will ask who is sitting beside you?
4. show the child 3 kinds of fruit, ask him to put one of them on the plate.
5. show the child 2 pictures(airplane and car), ask him what are they? what color is the airplane(or car)? then the child is asked to match the airplane(or car) with puzzles.
6. building blocks
questions for parents:
1. who take care of your child usually?
2. what does your child like to do at home?
3. what is your expectation from your child?

It's really odd if the teachers talked to you in this way. Did the teacher give you chances to explain and ask what exactly she meant? e.g. why do you need to bring him to have ear test etc?

Just for my case, since it is a Christian KG + it fits my girl character, thus it is my no.1 choice.

However, since they take only 60 kids (for Mt. Butler campus), so I think chances are slim.

Yeah, the competition is very keen. I hope SKH will accept my son as well.

I know some parents have few offers already, and some want their kids to have more interview experience..that's why i ask

Issac-ma ,  my experience of SKH interview was bad too.

I interviewed in the morning session, when I was escoted  inside the classroom, the teacher did not say good morning to us but telling us that her leg was hurt and we had to sit on the normal chair (as normally they used children tables and chairs)  and he asked my husband to get a chair on the other side of the classroom to sit on, but actually there were already three chairs by the our table. Of course we did not think much and my husband pulled a chair rightaway to sit on, but this kind of arrangement never happened in my previous KG interviews. We really found it strange.

Then the interview started, she then said good morning to us but had not mentioned her surname. She did not wear the name tag either like other teachers. I was particularly aware of that as I always like to address the teachers by their name. Compare to other KGs like Sacred Heart, SMM, Victoria, St Claire that I went, all staff wear their name tag and first thing in the interview would be teacher"s greeting plus introducing herself.  I think this is the standard manner, but this teacher is really not professional. Besides, I hardly see her smile to us at all throughtout the whole interview.(maybe her leg was really hurt!) I was disppointed to see a famous KG like SKH has such a strange and cool teacher.

However, apart from the above teacher, I found  the rest of the staff is really friendly including the 校工. We were also able to greet the headmistress and 主任, both of them are really nice and friendly.  My kid especially enjoyed to play cars in the playground.

想知道這學校是否男仔讀有着數? 聽說跟幾間有名男校有關係,比較易入? 如果女孩那些學校較易入?
這所學校功課深嗎? 你女character怎樣? 我女比較慢熱,一熟絡又不停講,鐘意跑/玩滑梯.
我女今日in了,雖然做到所有嘢和答問題,但幾緊張一直望住老師,很多時拿錯顏色也不知(因為跟本唔係望住拿),老師提點問佢睇清楚未,佢才望吓自己攞住d乜嘢,跟住換番啱嘅.

Mine was nice as well. But I did hear a teacher her voice was a little more "forceful" when that little girl did not tell the teacher her name. All these always come to individual cases.

i had a really good interview experience. Actually it was the best interview that i had attend among the 4 schools. The teacher is originally in Mt.Butler Campus.

By the way, does everyone know how many applicants for Central campus this year?

I did not target for this school, but heard that the competition among its students is keen, parents and students are stressed (provided that you are looking a good rank within the class). Many of the parents have expectation to their kids, they devote a lot of time and training.
My friends told me that it is not a relaxing place unless you do not mind your kid is at the “bottom line”.

Just heard, maybe parents of their student can give you more precise answer.

My son's interviewer also came from Mt. Butler campus. She was nice and considerate. Although my son already accepted by SPC, SKH is my first choice. FYI, my interview time was 1:00pm and my application no. was 8xx. I think more than 16xx applicants for Central campus this year.

我完全唔知我的面試老師是來自中環定還是畢拉山o忝, 亦不知老師的名字, 看來當日面試我實在太緊張了! 還要等一個月才知結果, 希望大家有機會做同學仔啦!

Not sure if it is true. A mammy who I met during the interview at Mt. Bulter said over 800 applications for that campus this year. So it means chances of getting an offer will be 1/12.
