本人想問一問 St.Paul convent or Good hope, 哪一間比較好?
希望大家可否給意見.

應是 Convent 略高, 但Convent 小學多收自己幼稚園的學生, 外人較難考入. 想入 Convent 小學, 最好是入它的幼稚園.

我看過兩間小學的功課和試卷, 好明顯 Good hope 比 St.Paul convent 程度高.

至於管理水平, 兩間差不多.

ST PAUL CONVENT 係傳統名校, 比我就會揀ST PAUL, 但學其他人講既一樣, 要入真係好難.................

應該這麼說, 要衡量好不好, 並不是以試卷深不深來比較, 一間學校受不受歡迎, 並不是以深不深為主, 很多名校並不是最深, 但為什麼這麼多人爭, 因為還有其他因素如師資, 同儕, 家長背景, 讀書氣氛, 學生日常用英文溝通等. 讀名校並不是只讀深不深, 要深有何難? 對不對?

當然以上只是個人意見, 只論名氣, convent 是高少少的

Agree! My cousin is studying in St Paul Convent. I found that a lot of St Paul Covent girls are very happy to go to school. Besides, they are confident, like reading books and has very good english foundation. That explain why their HKCEE result is better than a lot of schools. It is not easy to make a girl enjoy studying while they have good academic result.

不論男女校, 男校還是女校. 有"St Paul"這名, 總是比較得民心的. 我也會選擇St. Paul Convent.

Good Hope 己今非昔比, 已經唔係果個level. 我個女今年考中一, 個女學校好多女仔考, 差不多全部女仔收嘢, 但一個都無去, 因為只是想取個面試經驗吧了!

如果有得揀就唔揀Good Hope啦, 佢地會考成績近年也不太理想, 但佢個學費就超貴, 唔值這個價!!

我會揀St. Paul's Convent.

My daughter is now studing in St. Paul's convent KG.3, and will be promoted to P1 in September. My general comment of this school is good. The programme they teach is indeed not hard enough and I would say it is quite relaxing. Small amount of homtwork also. However, girls all enjoy going to school because there is a lot of interesting and creating activities for each of teaching subject. The school is particularly strong on training kids to read books and be confident on their speech and actions. Teachers are also very experienced and patience to kids.
I think the primary section would have similar culture as the kindergarten section.
However, their primary do not use to have open application for K1 and the historical admission rate for kids outside the kindergarten section is small.

可能St Paul's 名氣較大,但論中學會考成績, Good Hope 都和St Paul 差不多吧? 我看兩校website資料,St Paul 都係一兩科較Good Hope 好而已, 不能說很明顯差距. 我想選校時,交通較重要,兩間在不同地區. 還有學費,Good Hope 比St Paul 高,都可能是家長考慮之一.

同意，中學部成績應該不是差太遠，其實 St. Paul Convent 都是轉了直資後成績愈見進步。所以都係睇地點，我覺得搭少半個鐘校車，加加埋埋十幾年，真係賺好多時間。
不過，Good Hope 我早幾年有朋友囡囡讀過，佢話深，大班教學，多功課。。。結果佢囡囡 P.2 轉左去 Maryknoll（佢囡囡成績幾好），佢話仲讀得輕鬆左。。。

多提一點,就我所多年前聽聞(沒有親身經歷),Good Hope 的修女應較嚴,更注重displicine,沒有說那間好, 不同style. 各有所好.

Both are quality schools. My girl is studying in St Paul’s Convent (Primary). There’s no pressure for her, just 60 of 100 marks in Chin, Eng and Maths could promote her secondary. Compared with the regional famous schools, not much homework has to be done at night. Most Paulinians are so actively, confident and independent, and this is caused by school and parents’ support.

We're welcome....唔密實,每年投考的學生都會獲派一份. 每年都有新的prospectus印刷派發的.
