You should call the school immediately. You will have a stronger ground if you keep a copy of the completed application form.

Same here. I just received the letter and it said that the interview will be conducted in Putonghua though we had ticked "cantonese" in our form.I need to call the school tmw to clarify this.

Last time, coz of the issue regarding the requirement of documents that should be within 10 pages, already make me confusing.

This time is interview language issue.

How come DBS work like that????

My letter mentioned:

With underline in Putongha, really very surprise that it mentioned we have indicated to use putongha as my son can't speak mandarin.

Now find that same problem happen on number of people here. really don't know why...

Yes. Luckily it mentioned the language in the interview letter this year, so that we can still clarify with DBS before interview.

Yes, I think it' lucky to discover the mistake in this stage.
I remember I have read a post in the past here, mentioned that the whole interview was conducted by Putongha accidentially. That parent was upset as her son cannot speak Putongha.

Me too! I had also chosen Cantonese as medium but the letter said that the interview would be conducted in Putongua. Just know that so many parents were affected (surprised!). Should clarify with school tomorrow.

淨係"十頁紙全包"事件都睇得出，加上今年申請人數應係歷屆之冠，呢d情況我唔覺得好奇怪，只係辛苦左d家長同學校前線(接電話)人員。

唔應該入錯.

因為廣東同普語已經有英語隔住.....都入得錯.

不過, 有間學校連我小朋友的姓名都打錯啦.....所以interview時一定出問題.......因為小朋友入咗課室後我先發現. 雖則報咗比當值人員知. 但入面考人的又知唔知呢!? 由得佢啦....唔錯都錯咗...又係校方錯.

又或者係收表時普通話o個箱表同廣東話o個箱有部份調亂左...總之一定係人為錯誤，電腦都係要人去操作嘛。

咁你好有可能係9/10中午前後面試，因為佢地一般係早交表，早面試。例如，我第一日頭60個交表，面試時間係8/10 9am; 我個朋友同日下午交表，面試時間係8/10 3pm.

佢地o既收據預先印好號碼，所以應該係申請日期早d，收據號碼就細d，面試亦會早d。當然，收表現場有十幾人一齊收表，每個收表職員相信預先已經獲分配一組號碼，所以同場唔同收表o既號碼次序會有少少唔同，不過大致都應該係號碼細=早交表。

I just can contact DBS regarding the mistake of interview language.

She said that they will re-issue the interview letter for those that the interview language is wrong. We do not require to provide our application details to them for checking, because they can check which applicant's interview language is wrong.

It is fine to wait in these few days.

可能太早，佢地未知咁多人有問題，所以用一般錯誤方式處理。我有個朋友話，今朝打去，電話被轉駁到一位女士，佢一開口就問我朋友，"係咪面試語言問題搞錯左？"

學校兩日要見2400人，當每日1200人，每日見8個鐘，每個鐘要見150人，所以我九點幾交表同十點幾交表o既面試時間一樣，真係唔出奇。

我個舊同事兼老死入o左去dbs度教書，知道佢有份in小朋友，不過無諗住問佢tips，因為就算知道，我教完個仔，佢都未必記得同識得講返出o黎

所以都係由佢順其自然~
不過上年我去dbs度做tsa o既評核員，見到d仔真係幾有自信，所以吸引o左我申請，不過我諗機會幾渺茫，因為成二千幾人申請~

英華係一間好有朝氣o既學校，講求創造性，學生很開心和諧。男拔就係傳統教學o既老牌名校，校內出名競爭激烈，同學們很有鬥心。

男拔講明要搵d醒目反應快o既小孩，英華就很著重看書和記憶力。

以上乃小弟愚見，還望各位高人指正。

英華係一間好有朝氣o既學校，講求創造性，學生很開心和諧。男拔就係傳統教學o既老牌名校，校內出名競爭激烈，同學們很有鬥心。

男拔講明要搵d醒目反應快o既小孩，英華就很著重看書和記憶力。

以上乃小弟愚見，還望各位高人指正 ...

其實男拔in 9am, parent pick up at 10.15, but 英華就係10.15集合.....撞左...真係無辦法了?? 唉...

You try to go there la as last time we late (5 mins after the actual interview time) also, but the staff still let my son go inside...at least you have try...

男拔同英華比, 有d信心係英華...聽我朋友講佢上年In完男拔好亂, 一大班小朋友一齊落, 你唔知係邊個..再搭的士大塞..

係羅, 試吓趕唔趕到. 我上次去yw見校長, suppose 10:30am見, end up我仔都係10:50左右先入去. 因為有小小over-run. 不過, 未必次次同log log一樣, 我只想講比妳知, 係有機會遲start.

係都係驚到時唔夠人爭的士jei

it's some walking distance from the primary school to the main road, so if you want to save the walking time, you should call a taxi.

DBS中學部有一條留梯落到底過對面馬路就系基提道, 再過天橋就系KTS, 全程由小學行去中學到KTS, 應15mins 內到. 如果無Taxi, 可以用過條路條.
