today, there is a secondary one parent briefing. In the briefing, the principal said that each year there might be few GH primary 6 girls that cannot go to secondary.

Secondary part would consider a girl based on English and critical thinking, and primary teacher recommendation.

Waiting list still has chance to get in, don't give up and keep on update the school of your girl's status by letter.

There are 225 P1 seats and 150 GH K3 will occupy the P1 seats, hence there are >75 seats for outsiders.

Someone said they don't prefer applicants living in net 34 and 41 because they will go for Heep Yunn and Maryknoll during central allotment in June.

大家唔好誤會，其實唔係gh kg就一定收。因為我個女而家係佢k3學生，但眞係唔收，只有waiting.所以outsider應該唔只75個位.唉！太老定，而家唔知點算好。

I guess GHS and SHCSPS are more or less similar in style, but for S1, GHS should have greater chance to prompte to secondary section as it's a DSS.

收到waitlist嘅家長又未必冇機會,唔好放棄!!

舊年我識得有3個waitlists,一個喺註冊當日deadline之後嘅下午收到GH電話有offer比佢亞女(無需2nd interview,可能係top of the waitlist都唔定)。另一個一路send求位信update個女d資料,終於3/4月期間有2nd interview,然後收咗。最後一個差唔多暑假期間call去2nd interview,之後又收咗。

如果GH嘅practice冇變,係會一有人放位出嚟就call waitlist 2nd interview喇!!

K3 老師曾致电好些家長、她了解非GHK的小朋友較有優勢、當中每班有好些是waiting list. 聽說 P.1 好似共有八班、若屬實也會有200以上的收生、所以不要失望、還有機會的。各位家長加油！加油！

為甚麼非GHK的小朋友較有優勢呢?其實GHK是自己的學生嘛, 但因郵遞問題,現時仍未知GHKG的入學率。

未必有關系吧…我倒水咁早去排隊，我排果時係第12個，跟住插下又多個，插下又多個，有個亞姐仲 be-lee-ba-la話d人插隊

；就算計埋話識得就插隊果幾個，我前面就點數都唔夠20人…我都4xx號

So is it quite sure that there are more than 1,000 applicants this year? so if the school accepts about 100 so called outsiders, the competition is one in 10?? so very keen competition, I never realise that, I just think there are only few hundreds applicants , any thoughts?

If your daughter also got good offer from discretionary place admission on 22 Nov or from other DSS/private schools, please would you release your GH seat as early as you can.

I called the school earlier on today, and asked about how many applicants are on waiting list and whether it is able to disclose my position in the waiting list.

The lady replied ONLY the Headmistress knows the ranking and the number of applicants put on the waiting list.

Then I asked whether it is by phone or by mail to notify us who are on waiting list, she replied they still have to hold a meeting to discuss this issue.

大家好, 我姪女都有去考呢間呀, 當日考完佢仲好有信心, 因佢話老師問佢既問題, 其他小朋友唔識但佢識, 所以老師都讚佢表現好好, 我未知結果,但係我覺得對於一個只係5,6歲既小朋友來講佢地已做到最好啦, 佢係我心目中已係好叻, 我好pround of her.
來緊仲有女拔2nd in, 佢既表現唔係出於好彩, 我覺得佢真係好叻女.
所以大家on waiting list既都唔好太介意, 只要比小朋友知道佢地自己已做得好好呢點最緊要呀.
