half guess and half evidence, 因為RC 係一所好傳統谷既學校, 佢地當然希望收一些在學習上有一定底子的學生, e.g st, joe , 聖公會, ...etc , 在幼稚園 k2己學寫字 , K3 時己經有讀 &背默等習慣既學生. 當然面試時的臨場表現亦十分重要. 另外, 以我所識的幾位聖公會小朋友, 高主教都有收..唔知係唔係有關.

所以我咪寫多個.."掛"字 law. (^_^)

我兩個仔都係讀聖公會(約2,3年前)同一班入DBS約有5,6個;SPCC都有2,3個;SPCPS,SSCPC同RC都有....

它比較自由，每天有一些活動在課室不同部份同時進行，大部份活動讓小孩可以在數天內完成。K2開始寫簡單的中文字，英文以教phonics和寫字母為主。K3要寫得比較多，英文也要開始作句。

至於深淺問題，很難一概而論，要看你對深淺的定義，我個人就覺得還可以，可能我唔想太早谷得咁緊要。

想問升中問題:
(1)如果讀了直資小學,是否自己仍然可以在自行考官津中學? 聽聞有直資小學不呈分,那就很難報官津中學,因為學生無banding,對嗎?
(2)如何考官津中學?是否在自行填兩間,之後等學校call interview?
(3)派位是否跟小學的校網?聽聞可以填表前申請將小學校網, 轉返去屋企的校網, 是嗎?

第一條答你係~!所以揀咗直資而又想將來報考官津中的, 要留意該校有冇呈分試. 如果冇, 你都可以報官津中, 但要預咗去 d band 尾校.

第 2 & 3 條, 去升中網問會好 d, d 家長熟過呢度好多.

深~! interview 果日老師都講到明要有心理準備功課量會大, 所以佢都有問平時係屋企小朋友 d 學習情况. 另外, 佢地準備有資優班比有唔同方面有天分的小朋友.

其實大細仔未必是收生之100%架, 我囝囝班都有幾個是細仔一樣好開心呀. 所以interview的表現(家長及小朋友)都係十分重要. 希望您們大家都考到心儀的學校呢!

張申請表頭幾行有三個正方格，第一格好明顯已經好明顯咁寫招收小一生，優先考慮2005年8月31日前申請者。我仔係細仔，所以印象特別深刻。

last year, my friend was like this..waiting list for RC and could still participate in the lucky draw and got a seat at 軒官. later on, they got a seat at RC and they chose RC and gave up 軒官.

I think applicants put on waiting list will have a good chance of being accepted because many parents apply for several schools and use RC as a backup; once they receive offers from these other schools, they will release the RC offer.  I have not opened my mailbox yet...if my son is accepted, I will start to think about it.

According to 1 BK parent, the deadline for registration is 27/11, so you can wait for the result of discretionary stage first.  For us, the chance of being accepted by the school selected in the discretionary stage is quite low because of keen competition and lots of alumni (i.e. 20 marks = selection by luck).

Be patient for a little while longer.  I hope you will receive good news soon.  Add oil!

始終心情都會down一排... 我都試過好多次... 唉.... 有一次, 我仔係第二間學校2nd in, 佢喊tim, 因為佢油顏色油得漫, 跟唔切就喊左出黎, 佢話比我知佢好驚... 老實講, 我一向都覺得佢十下十下, 好開心咁玩, 根本唔知而家係in學校tim... 點知佢都有壓力的一面... 我當時聽到佢話佢喊, 我down到呀~~~~ 唉.... 連lunch都唔想食, 我自己都靜靜雞喊... 因為間學校係我最心儀的, 咁辛苦入到2nd in... 但最後, 我都諗通番, 佢已經好叻, 我相信佢一定已經盡晒力... 所以希望大家都放鬆d la...

my girl is accepted by RC. her brother is studying in P.2 of RC as well. Glad that they can go to school together starting from next year.

Not sure about "totally" different, but I agree this year's competition is keener than last year's, so the non-acceptance (by parents) rate may be lower. However, RC's status in parents' mind has not changed, so there will still be released offers after some time. Don't lose hope yet.

I got the rejection letter from RC, but this is what I expected.

I don't hv any offer at all, so no hope no disappointment!

Anyway, I relaxed myself n look forward, I believe my son will go to a school that suit him eventually.

Hope all parents got their offer very soon.

Add oil to parents who love RC and are still waiting for a seat. Try to write a letter to principal Chen and hand it in person to school before 22 Nov. Hope this helps.

I don't know yet, as I am not at home and I am usually the one who opens the mailbox. :)

Waiting for the final result of CKY but I really don't prefer this school. It's really too far away and also not suitable for my son.
Yes, I like RC more than SL so that's why I haven't applied SL. If I could choose again, I will apply it plus KY, St stephen, HKUGA~!! sigh............
