My girl is accepted by RC. Just want to know any other girls accepted by RC this year. Do hope the no. of RC girls will be increased.

My understanding, RC has her own secondary school, around 70-80% RC students will enter her sec school, RC primary section belongs to net 12, so other net 12 secondary schools are available for choosing.

Thanks for ur information. 但高主教中學唔係男校咩? 所以我worry 緊女仔中學的allocation。另一樣嘢就係住, 好想搬近D方便佢返學, 但香港區週圍都咁貴, 談可容易吖!

RC Sec changes to co-ed school already for one or two years. Since the majority of her students came from primary section, and RC primary section starts accepting girls just a few years as well, you may see most of the students are still boys. But after 6 years, the picture will be changed.

We living in kowloon side, my son also accepted P.1. But i'm not sure Kowloon Side (St.Joseph or RC ) is better. Any comment??? But i know for the future Secondary School is RC better then ST.Joseph).

Any comments please let me know

When's the registration? Once register, is it not allow to have lucky draw?

You mean St. Joseph at Kwun Tong, right? If so, definitely I will choose RC.

I've read the leaflet about F.1 allocation in Educational Department, this is 2 step procedure as in primary one allocation: 自行和統一

自行 is not limited by your primary school net, and you can choose 2 secondary schools to interview

統一 has 2 stage:

10 % of the remaining seats after 自行 allocation of each secondary school will be open all student in Hong Kong, meaning that it's not limited by your primary school net.

Only during the second stage (90% of the remaining seat) of lucky draw, you can only get a get in RC secondary if you put it in 1st option AND you belong to band 1 or 2 in your school net no. 12!

So the Net 12 only has its effect in calculation of banding of our girl and so the priority of our girls' admission to RC secondary. Moreover there are many famous primary school in our Net 12, so our girl needs to work very hard to get a place in Band 1, in order to be admitted to RC secondary!!!!
