Hello, why you give up SPCC? It is a difficult choice . Did you also get an offer from the private section? I gave up the SH AM school as i got a place at the PM school , a difficult choice as well, pls share, thanks

我覺得二十分不是抽中的
是根據所讀幼稚園選的
We need to write down the kg school name when we register for discretionary place
不過我想學校是不會承認的

sorry, I misunderstood what cellojoyce said.
I chose PM school because the time is better for me, I go work rather late and come home later as well, after 8pm, taking PM school mean I can spend some time with my daughter in the morning, if I take AM school, I dont have any time for my daughter although I know that the curriculum is a bit harder, but harder does not necessarily mean better for kids, the PM school also has good culture and learning environment. I got five other private school offers and will give them up, just waiting for DGS.

唔好意思SNOW05 MAMA，可能我問得太市儈了，請見諒

。SH係一間好好的學校，就算係AM OR PM CLASS都係每個有囡的家長的DREAM SCHOOL。

再請教CELLJOYCE MAMA, 照你所講，在1ST ROUND的20%學位(計分)，(可能)都會預留位置給KG生，咁有冇拿著15分又係SH的KG生在1ST ROUND是中了呢?

有否拿著20分都抽不中呢?

我本身有倆個囡囡，下年大囡會參加小一派位。本身住在九龍區，知道今年20分都有機會入SH、跑馬地聖保禄、灣仔聖芳濟各及九龍塘/城聖家，呢幾間都係我心目中的好學校，我們亦不吝嗇若在第一ROUND抽到邊間便搬去該區，只是希望我倆個囡囡可以在一個校風好及天主教環境下長大，學習做人正面的思想。請教各位MAMA，可否賜教對以上五間學校的排位呢? 校風純樸是一定乖。論成績、功課難度及其中學的好壞可否排一個RANKING呢?

It is not necessary to differentiate the 20 points applicants by kindergarten. All 20 points and above are accepted by SHCS.

Correct, AM is not EMI, but study English with level one year in advance.

Certainly both are good schools, just more options for parents and children to choose what are more suitable for them.

十五分聖幼抽不中的大把啦, 邊夠胆偷偷地收埋20分揀一餐15分又揀一邊. 間學校咁耐, 如果學某某某咁, 晨早俾人插死啦....係第一二輪一定跟政府方針去做, 聖心啲家長舊生咁多咁精, 你估佢唔驚佢地吵你? 立法局議員, 高官甚至政務司都有, right?

天主教學校梗係會傳教啦, 根本就是辦學目的之一. 但Canossian 似香港大多數的天主教咁好正氣, 點會出
慕道班逼你信取個5分咁'拿渣', 唔怕150年校聲掃地??

我唔認為聖心會做D咁既事, 作為一間教會學校, 會引導學生認識天父好應該, 但唔會用D旁門阻道既手法去幫學生領洗LOR
係"果間"至咁唔羞做得出架咋

真係好多SH的FANS呢! 當然本人也深信SH係靠多年學校維持高質素及純樸的校風得到各MAMA的維護及支持。

不過，好似開始離了題，再請問有否MAMA對以下本人之前問的問題賜教呢? THANKS!!!!

聽好多家長講,話自行分配學位係校長自己揀番,但係本人曾經問過趙(sir)榮德,佢話咁做係刑事,校長應該唔會咁蠢咁做喎,所以佢話應該係教署抽籤既....

One possible reason is they need to keep a record who are from own kindergarten so these children may have priority during door-knocking.

Sorry, 我諗我表達得唔清楚, 我就梗唔會將SH同個D睇$$$份上的學校比~我對教會知識一知半解...

我係想問佢會唔會有D類似教會或者聖經之類的課堂, 又或是課外活動(唔收$$又唔係速成個種)係可以俾小朋友上

我見有D家長講St.Rosa好似有D咁嘅野(強調係真心向教, 唔係為$$), 好多學生畢業時都可以做到教徒

Sorry didn't notice your question is for me.

I guess it is hard to really know how many 15 points are accepted, unless a school will publish it (which is impossible).  But I heard the number is extremely low this year.

The kindergarten will not organize 慕道班, it must be done by the Catholic Church.  However, concerning your further questions in the later post, the religious study is incoporated into the everyday curriculum already (e.g. praying before class and eating, etc.) and there are easy bible study every Friday.

I guess many children become Catholic because they believe in the religion during the course of study and joined 慕道班 from the churches.  For example my daughter after one year in the kindergarten proposed to me that she wanna be Catholic.  However, to avoid being thought to gain the extra 5 points, I will let her join 慕道班 next year instead.

By the way, please don't mind if some feedbacks on your query since it is a very sensitive topic lately because of the actions taken by another kindergarten.  So, people will easily linked your questions to the similar intentions.  Hope you won't feel upset by it.

我都係讀嘉諾撒會學校出黎, 學校每星期有聖經堂(中小幼都有), 每朝會祈禱, 特別日子有特別宗教儀式果d, 一年都有幾次, 好多老師(唔知係咪全部呢?)都係天主教徒, 教導學生時會滲入d對宗教既睇法(例如會話"十誡都有講唔可以講大話"之類)
唔可以話"hard sell" (no offence!), 至少我讀到f7都無信教....

我女同你女一樣, 讀完幼稚園, 問我好多宗教問題, 問到我唔識答.....於是我安排佢返sunday school, 而家領洗了(輪到我下星期開始返慕道班)
不過根據經驗, 如果父母唔係天主教徒, 想突然安排小朋友返sunday school會有d難度.....如果你有興趣知道, 我地offline再傾啦!
