That is almost not possible!
With an older sibling at RC, the child is guaranteed a screening/interview. It must be that the child doesnt demonstrate proficiency either in English or socially to get a place.

RC doesn't have categories n siblings are always interviewed first at RC if you have an older sibling at RC already.

Their interview priorities are published on the website

There are no sibling priority when applying ESF with silblings in PIS.
Sibling priority only applies when u apply the same PIS with sibliing there.

I heard similar story before.
Of course, according to rules of the game, silblings only have the priority for interview only. School always has the right to choose the "right" candidates. Nothing wrong with a school.
I always think that a "good school" is the one which is capable of educatiing all kind of children to be a good children; not just choose the best children with best performance.
Other than simply screening out silblings, why don't they give them a chance and provide additional support (from the school and parents) to help the family?

By unknown reasons, there were SO MANY silblings needed to attend 2nd round interview in 2011/12 Year One admission.
Parents were struggled, whreas they thought their little one should be "sure win" with an elder brother/sister playing/chatting with him/her in English for years, and also having the first priority for interview...
Was it believable that SO MANY silblings could not meet their standard? if the standard is the real standard they mentioned in the website and the conferences in summer?
It really hurt parents, who thought they were a member of RCHK family, even though most of them they got an offer end up.
