我囡囡表達能力很差, 我想問下怎樣訓練下?

1. 對話多些用open end questions.
2. 教他多些用來描繪情感、時間、形狀、顏色、方向、空間的詞匯。
3. 跟他玩role play或要他說故事。

sometimes I need to wait , to observe what's behind the expression of the kids, before going into any solutions.

my son - always a quiet child since kindergarten, frustrated over that as a mom, but hold it back because i learn that kids are diverse and they will change.

I observe - he is very expressive when facing granma as grandma cook good foods for him; he is very expressive with me when going out for good food..he talks and talks about food, he is very expressive about books when reading a good book

wait and wait, every year, class teacher's comments are - he's too quiet, besides that everything is ok. they suggest me to put him to public speaking training, poet training etc etc...But, I felt like that's too pramatic, and not fit the kid's pace.

I still wait and wait, of course I share with him my observation and teachers' observation and ask him how did he feel about that...

This year, he finally tell me that he needs to change

His expression improve a lot, he participate in poetry competition, that's out of my surprise

My son is 5 now. His speech is not as good as a 5-year-old boy. I found his speech is lack of vocab and always jammed at the beginning "I think... I think... " (of course in Cantonese). We also found he always copy same sentence as my wife said.
He takes an EXCEL course held by HKAPA. I hope he will have improvement later.

I believe you can find similar course elsewhere. Try to discuss with teacher/school first.

Not necessarily have problems.

For clarifications of your confusions or anxiety, you can go to a speech therapist for assessment. There are some subvented social service agencies, price between private and public service. E,g, Heep Hong, or Hong Kong Christian Service or other agencies with children services.

Or you can go directly to the child assessment centre by the government and request a holistic assessment for the kid. Sooner the better for kid's training.

有個小遊戲可以嘗試:隨意指定一個物體(比如雪糕),輪流形容物體讓第三者估,原則是不可提及物體名稱及構成名稱的字。

開頭用具體物件,繼而抽象(比如對顏色、氣味、畫作的感受,心情、氣氛的描述,),循序漸進,豐富孩子的詞彙及改善表達方式。
