My son is P1, can finish homework within 30 minutes. Academic level average only, not particularly difficult if the English standard is good (use English in Maths and Science).
Teachers are nice and my son enjoys going to school.

Could you please share more insights? How many classes per grade and how many students per class? I have heard that this is an English/mandarin bilingual school, am I correct?

It is a normal subsidized primary school with Cantonese as major medium of communication in school. All assemblies use Cantonese. For Chinese, they use Putonghua, for English, Maths, Science, they use English books. For general studies and religious studies and other subjects, they use Cantonese

It is not happy learning school but the standard not really difficult. Not too much "copy" type of homework.

Thanks so much for your replies. Are there lots of homework to do after school? Do they give the students time in school to finish some of the homework? How frequent are the dictation and small quiz and etc? If it is not a very "谷" school, what does the school do to maintain its top 3 status in net 91?

吾一定要谷先有好成績，我大女畢業了，培基係一間好有質素的學校，老師教學一流，無抄寫功課，最多每教完一課寫下詞語，從來冇抄書，多做用腦筋的練習，默書都係一兩星期中英各一次，大女升中後睇得到，來自不同小學的同學，各有所長，培基出來的英文會比人強，Sci會勝過人，F1,2教的大部份小學學過基本的課程，容易掌握，致於數學不用多講，從小就英數，到升中絕冇困難，中文就冇一呂咁好，亞女話一呂的數係教快半年，所以數學底都好好，
大女剛測完驗, maths全級第一，佢回來時咁講:
我好驕傲以前讀培基，我自小便學英數，我好慶幸我小三，五，六年級是某老師教，我記得五年級時問老師一題數時，她好嚴厲教導我，還說將來也遇到的，你要記住，就是這小小的教導，今天用得着，全班同學都錯這題數，只有她答對。她很興奮的樣子，自己也非常感恩。

培僑同培基好唔同，培僑普通話教數，直資，有泳池，中學直上，培基英文教，津校！
