香港冇睇過呢，1-8冊的大陸書店應該有賣，9-16冊是馬來西亞出版印刷的，只能從新/馬或淘寶買。

淘寶網一定比書店便宜，因為成本低一些。

無傷大雅, 至在引小朋友興趣去睇英文書. Mummy 可作不同解法.
有時書教既英文同日常生活所用既有些不同.
例如我以前睇書, 人地招呼我食野, 我食飽了唔想再食, 就唔好話: I am full. 話咁樣好childish. 要講: I've had enough.
但原來外個人興講: I'm fine.

Nancy Drew 睇過嗎? 還有Enid Blyton的書亦很好看
另外, c.s.Lewis的 the chronicles of Narnia, 不過一定要找兒童版, 原著英文好深.

其實classic亦有很多好看的書, 例如the little women, oliver twist, Gulliver's travel等等, 不過, 可能啱高小多D

我女D字識讀，但思想比較幼稚單純， 有怪獸，壞人，任何傷心事的都不太鍾意！

我囝七歲半一樣驚怪獸之類。所以佢鍾意有真善美的書。
Tried Richard Scarry? Fairy tales are good for them. My son's favorite is "mr men and little miss". Funny, positive, yet not scary.

係啊，吾明有D細路小一可以看Harry Porter,其實內容有D驚嚇！

我自己睇Harry Porter, 睇到第三集就無再睇了, 因為覺得個故事好"黑暗". 個人口味, 所以都唔鼓勵自己個仔去睇.

You can read one yourself to see if you think it is suitable or not. For me, it is just the words, nothing disrespectful in the stories. But different people have different standards.

I tried Horrid Henry once, my sons loved it, but at the end I didn't allow them to read anymore, cos I think the tricks in the stories are a bit too much. The stories didn't teach them any good value like friendship, love at all. Yet, I know that series is very popular.

my son, 7yo, also doesn't like to read, he wants to play with his LEGO. But reading is very important, so I still ask him to read a few pages every day, and trade for video games time. Of course, I also try to read to him every night, and look for books that would interests him.
somtimes he would read more than I request if he was drawn by the stories.
Don't worry, be patient, as long as the child can read, she would read when she finds something interesting.

我今日睇咗佢第二本, reptile room.
dark humour, 都幾sad架. 不過都唔會太驚, 作者一開始就警告小讀者會有人死. 都算做足心理預備:)
小朋友若太細個, 可能會以為世界就係咁灰.
我前排讓兩個仔睇clone wars season 2. 我細囝之後無啦啦同我講: 呢個世界好horrid! 我聽咗後, 即刻唔讓佢睇住. 佢仲細, 未分得清真真假假.
但我相信10歲的大囝反應會不同.

其實睇小說，識70%生字已夠，好多時都可以從上文下理估到個意思。睇唔睇書都好視乎小朋友興趣。我大囝英文麻麻地，逼下逼下佢睇書，佢越來越喜歡。細囝英文好，但逼唔到佢睇書，本本都話悶，唔鍾意。

我估未必關D字深唔深, 反而係本書內容是否吸引. 因為你囝囝已睇過唔少英文書.
我大囝係學校有讀書計劃, 但佢最近同我講, 佢故意好慢咁睇現有的一本書, 因為睇完呢本書, 佢就無書啱睇. 讀書計劃裏的書, 大部份都係神神怪怪的故事, 佢好驚呢D故事, 唔肯睇, 驚會發惡夢.
細囝就投訴故事書好無聊.
佢地最鍾意睇既書係Pokemon的guide book.
要搵啱佢地口味的書真不容易! 我自己去睇書好過了 :)

無咩書啱睇, 都係其中一個原因, 有時行過書店, 佢竟然睇mr. men & little miss, 我話佢細個睇了幾十次喇, 仲有咩好睇。

佢大咗睇好多中文書, 尤其天文地理常識果d。

我大囝咪睇magic school bus, 叫佢睇horrible science, 佢睇咗一本之後就話好disgusting, 唔肯再睇. 前一排追哂 The diary of Wimpy Kid幾本書之後, 就係度睇啱佢細佬程度既書, 例如Weird school.

我亦試過俾佢睇 Nicholas [url=]by Goscinny, Rene[/url], 佢話好睇, 但之後又話boring, 唔肯繼續睇第二本.

最近佢睇完 "Boy overboard" by Gleitzman, Morris. 話好睇. 呢位作者還寫咗幾本關於toad的書, 我見大囝好似有D意思, 遲D試下借俾佢睇.

Roald Dahl的書, 我估都幾好睇, 昨晚自己睇咗Fantastic Mr. Fox. 打算先試下讀俾佢地聽, 看看是否引起佢地興趣.
