Agreed. See if you can go to speech or music festival too, even the result may not be out, I put <result pending> in profile last year, at least it shows the participation!

Check with your class teacher if they would provide interview training sooner (like Sept/Oct), some kind of mock format would be good so that your kid would know what is coming and they can tell how your kid handles it. That will help you to fix his problem too (if any).

Don't ask me which interview class is good outside, I tried some last year, feel wasting money and time and got nothing improved!

應該參加課外活動！如果成績相當，同屬band 1小朋友同時叩門，學校會選有多元課外活動、社會服務ge同學
