I will say it's a development process of teenager.

We faced similar situation when he was between G7-9 (F1-3), he just declared independence, he has his own view and start to build his own value system......... A social worker taught us to embrace him with unconditional love, open communication, maintian the rlationship. She is correct, when the time is right, he clicked and changed from a boy to a teenager.

No need to worry, don't give up.....
