Agree with your remarks except the following priorities:
2) 如何選科
- 第一必須跟據學生興趣, 因為有興趣才有動力
- 第二是將來想讀甚麼, 做甚職業, 如護士一定要讀bio, 工程一定要讀phy..
- 第三再按成績選擇, 因為成績高分就有興趣選擇比較容易讀科目, 如chem, bio
- 第四比較容易最高成績, 中西史比較容易合格

Understand, I put the career inspiration as higher priority, because my son shared with me of his electives are more flexible and focus than his classmates, no matter in NSS or IBDP.
We all know it's no right or wrong, just for reference only.

I am not so optimistic about the school based admission / common first year. In terms of engineering, Maths and Physics definitely not up to the par.
The credit hours for both subjects more or less the same as 3 years program, but study one year less in NSS. Not the same the degree.......

In BBA, you apply for Global Business, after year 1, you may be assigned to Operation Management....... So no more honey moon in the first year.

係呀, 基本上叻的學生大多數選理科!!   不過我女只喜歡 生物!!

For NSS, the trend may be changed....... Mixed streams are more preferable.
