No exception, I suggest IVE HD, don't take AD, waste of money and time.
HD is 70% vocational study & training, 30% general studies.

AD is 30% vocational study, 70% some what general studies.

For general studies, 3-6 years in secondary school, more in AD, further more in university ...... why? What's for?

We need our kids employable or just "Blow water" and can't find a job in the highly competitive market.

IVE HD all are articulated to top-up degrees, all programs (Included top up degree) are formally accredited in HK.

I agree with u, but my son prefers studying the social science asso in hku spa ...

I am not familiar with Social Science, may be other EK parents can help.

It's SPACE, not HKU ...... stand on the ground, instead of flying to the black hole.

I just relate SPACE to black hole ......

Depends on the route, if he can get in the funded program finally, still ok. If not can be a lot.
AD is suitable for students don't want to get into job market so soon, take university education as medium goal. That;s the original idea of AD, improved the unemployment rate in 1998-99.......
