Although I'm happy with the language environment at CKY, don't mistake it as an IS where English is their first language. Students generally feel comfortable speaking in both English and PTH (and certainly Cantonese as 95%+ are local Chinese), especially after a year or two there. But the majority don't really command 'native' fluency if this concerns you.
As cmpyu put it, if your kid is admitted, the school is confident that s/he will pick up the language sooner or later. In fact, there are many students who have made admirable progress in languages at CKY.
What you should be more concerned about is whether you have faith in the school's education philosophy and whether its approach would help your kid's development and unleash their learning potential.
