今年小一功課都唔算好多呀,平均都係5-6樣啦,唔計改正.不過間中就會突然多幾樣囉,印象中最高記錄都係9樣...不過係fri來既.
平日ws都深架,我諗最初要適應寫英文句子啦.如果一向都做開既,咁就更加冇難度啦.
默書開頭多數都係一個星期先默一樣啫.英默就過左3個月之後就有幾長既字要默啦.如果識phonics就好快可以讀晒既.

輪到我來答你啦,2ling係返夜既,我係返日頭既.
樂器唔洗學定架,開左學就會派通告,到時再諗想學乜野啦,揀樂器果日要響禮堂度認識下d樂器,然後你揀左,老師會睇下適唔適合.真係揀唔到既,可以問老師意見.
當然你亦都可以先去了解下d樂器先.例如去youtube聽下鐘唔鐘意邊件樂器既聲.

英文同普通話好個人既喎,唔一定要補既,如果覺得完全唔識聽普通話既,咁就去學下啦,驚上堂完全唔明就唔好啦.我囝囝響幼稚園係英普班既,所以就冇補過啦.

中文係用全普通話教既,好快就會學埋拼音既啦.

英文會全英文教,其他科目得數學會有小部份係要學英文,包括有英文既數學題,但係唔知係咪用英文來教啦.

唔好客氣.

一上p1就學p2下學期既野...其實我唔知邊d先應該係p1教既,邊d係p2教既野喎.
我只係知道,英文會有3個老師教既,其中一個係net.書都係用p1既書,仲有reader,但係有好多引伸出來既ws要做,包括有普通(grammar之類)既ws,仲有writing, listening, phonics, reading...好多野會要成句寫既,例如看圖作4-6句咁啦.

仔仔冇補習,可能係我唔緊啫. 同埋我知有d小朋友真係響幼稚園係少pth既,咁咪補定先囉.另外唔同班亦可能有唔同啦,我地班都教得好清楚既,所以仔仔聽完都會識.佢冇好明顯既低分,咁我就唔會叫佢去補啦.

揀樂器果時會由家長陪同既.因為牽涉到租/買樂器,好多關於錢既野,一定要由家長決定啦!

冇記錯好似$1,650十堂呀.

因為太多樂器班啦,有d響平日,有d響sat,要就埋個樂器老師既時間.如果係平日既,暫時會冇校車接.不過學校都研究緊呢個問題,第日有都唔出奇.

==唔好意思,出版社唔係好記得,因為太多本啦.英文好係oxford,叫new magic,佢有task book同埋grammar book.仲有本comprehension,一本叫write one.加埋好多本reader同worksheets. ws會比書深好多.
中文係快樂學語文.

課外活動係咪每日放學後都有一樣?
==唔係,要睇你揀既活動係星期幾有.如果係sat既,咁就要sat返去啦.

最多可以揀幾樣?
==好似冇講最多喎,不過有d個時間會撞既,同埋都仲要做功課溫書,一般都冇咁多時間玩好多樣啦.

林校長話一生一體藝,咁體方面係咪都係自己揀?
==係,唔揀都得,唔會罰既.到時會有負責既老師同小朋友sell,咁佢地鐘意就揀囉.不過有d都會有老師建議佢參加邊樣既.

樂器係要學一樣定兩樣?
==學一樣夠啦,不過係管弦樂團入面有既樂器,所以好多小朋友會仍然keep番自己學開既piano.咁先會變左學兩樣啫.

見網頁話校服有新舊版,咁新同學係咪全部都係著新版?
==學校暫時都冇規定新定舊既,新既靚d,但係白色易dirty,所以有家長係特登去買件舊款既俾小一,費事著兩下就黑晒呀.不過囝囝來講,白色都算ok既,狂洗之下,都仍然keep到未黑得晒囉.

1. If we choose ECAs on weekdays, will we be home very late and have not enough time to finish homework?  
The school finishes at 2:30 and they stay for another 1hr or 1hr30mins. That means they can leave school no later than 4:30. My son takes less than 1hr to home and can finish homework before 7.
2. Since Chinese is taught in PTH, can your sons read Chinese in Cantonese? The book is not difficult and my son knows the words in Cantonese before the lesson. However, when he memorizes the passage, he uses PTH.
What about the other subjects, like maths or religion or social studies, are they taught in Cantonese? Yes.If they are, will the boys be confused with PTH and Cantonese? I think their mother tongue is Cantonese and they cannot distinguish between them.

You’re welcome. I have no idea whether English subject is difficult or not. I can only say that my son could handle it in the past few months. He attended a kinder with NET and phonics was taught. But I found that he speaks with me in English for fun everyday after he joined YW. If you have no confident in his English, please let him join some courses in the coming months.

To be more exactly, starting from 1st Feb, the boys are asked to write journal in paragraphs and not less than 50 words. They are taught to start with introduction, then the body and conclusion.

P.1 student would start writing few lines in 2nd term.  
However, you should ask your boy to read more books as preparation.
