I think it is quite hard to catchup la!

We should remember not only you are progressing, but others are progressing as well!

Not mentioning the top and bottom, but the average students are progressing right?

We understand exam. score is not representing how good one master the knowledge!

But we need to admit the qualified certificate is admission ticket for higher education and ultimately the first career opportunity!

Primary school maths is manipulation oriented!

Secondary school maths is analytic oriented!

The two requirements are very different, and no need for Secondary school student to revise P5-6 maths!

That's why I use the word "lacking" instead of "negative"!
