I think the syllabus is the issue. Now, we always emphasize the students need to apply the knowledge they learn in real life. Therefore we add so many application element alongside with the mathematical theories taught.
I am not say this is not good, but resources is limited right?
In the past mathematic syllabus is quite academic and taught in several fundamental domains in depth. And the applications are left to the later stages! |
