to your Q2, i suggest you tell the doctor that you don't want your kid drugged instead of stopping the drug yourself. at least the doctor will understand you parents more and find other ways to help your child. i understand the reason you don't want to give medication to your child and of course, nobody want their children become drawsy and slow motion after taking drugs. and most psychiatric medication hv long-lasting side-effects. so let the doctor know your concern.
