想請問已收信的是否有宗教/兄長/父親-舊生之類的背景??
因我都早過你地比表, 咩聲氣都無?????

My son finished interview at 9pm on 17/9. My application was handed in on 4/9 and we have absolutely no 宗教/兄長/父親-舊生之類的背景.

Interview with principle Mrs. Lam with 5 boys in a group round 15mins. seems no reading out the books and just causal chatting in Cantonese. Everyone got a drawing and bookmark at the end.

4 groups in one hour, around 3 students did not show up.All parents are sitting in conference room watching ATV TV on Ying Wa. 5 boys queued up and then went outside, came back in 15 mins. My boy went back to school in Kowloon Tong after interview. He is in AM session.

I was shocked when receive the letter on Sat evening as we were given such a short notice.  May be this is now efficient Principal Lam is!!! I prefer weekday rather than Sat which usually crash with other interviews.  Some boys have to rush for 3 interviews in one Sat before. So they properly cannot perform well. Kindergarten should have understanding that the students will be on leave when attending interview.  Today, some boys came with one mum or grand parents only.  As we do not have any chance to see the school seniors, so it doesn't matter.

Nobody checked the parents at all.  Nobody checked the document also!! Teacher just tick the name and you can go into conference room. Teachers are friendly and efficient. Still have to go again on 22/9 8am and no further information at this stage.

Some questions on the books (not reading out the content) and activities.  All boys were very happy when they came out.

My friend submitted form on 12/9.  Finally she got letter on 28/9 (friday).  
The group interview on 29/9 (sat) ---what a rush!!!
Interview with principal on 12/10 ---anybody later than this date???
He is a small boy at end of Nov but everything is alright for him.  Can't understnad the rationale interview arrangement.

Very excited to receive the 2nd interview letter on Sat morning (20/10) !!!!!! not rumour anymore!!!

My application no. is below 100. Interview date on the coming Sat (27/10) AM for 1 hour, must be accompanied by parents.  

May be the school send out the letters in batches like 1st interview. So, hope you receive good news soon. Good luck to all BK muns.

My 1st interview was at the 1st hour on the 1st day. Also, 1st interview for my boy!!!  I handed in application form on the 4th day.  

For 2nd interview letter, no idea on the date of post chop as I disposed already.  They wrote down the application no. on the lower right corner.  I live quite close to the school.  The website said the list will be posted up on 23/10 and all letters should be received by 25/10.  So, it is again out of my expectation and it is better as the parents have one week to arrange the office leave.

So, more letters will be sent out as there are 300 candidates.  I am sure there will be good news from our BK muns.

Can you share your 2nd interview date & time?? I wonder if 27/10 is the 1st day.  Actually, it may crash with KTS and DBSPS. In my case, I have to give up KTS.

Also, no idea on the format of interview.  How will you prepare for it??

I hope this is still a forum for those parents who support Ying Wa as there are rumours & criticisms here.  Afterall, the 2nd interview is a better chance only, we cannot confirm who are successful until 26/11. Some of us will definitely fail when the result is posted up.

I had 2nd interview today already.  4 families in the same hour were waiting in the same room as 1st interview.  Each family has 15mins to meet Pincipal Lam and the vice-principle, Mr Kwong in her room. They were nice and friendly, simple question on parents like:-
how you feel like your child?
how to choose a school?

Principle Lam said she enjoyed to meet so many smart boys during 1st interview and the selection process was really difficult.  She said she could choose up to 500 candidates for 2nd interview. She understood some parents were disappointed during the process.  So, the crux is the limitation of 150 spaces, not the kid's problems. So, there will be equal chances for all our kids in other schools.

Keep up our spirit and effort for all BK parents!!!

Yes, 3 of us went inside the room together.  Boy sat on a smaller chair and parents sat on normal chairs, side by side facing the 2 principals.

This means there might be up to 500 boys qualified for 2nd interview but of course, they chose 300 finally.
