Relax!  Don't put to much pressure to your kid and yourself.  God will make a way.

Good for you.  You have a very clear mind.  Many parents would just go for schools which they have no idea at all and finally they found the school is not their cup of tea.  I heard that it happened to CKY as well.  A friend of mind said that the 1st parents' gathering, there was a parent challenge the school of being too free and have no homework, no examination (or not enough).  That's mis-match.

Though the question is not direct to me, let me add something for others to consider.

In fact, there is no free lunch.  Though CKY unlike the traditional school with lots of homework, they do demand your high language standard.  Both their Chinese and English is far much better than tranditional schools.  No homework dosen't mean "hea" as the kids have to do a lot of reading.  

Instead of squeeze the knowledge into the kids brain, school teaches them how to acquire the knowledge by themselves.  Cooperation and support from home is important too.  Good question to parents if they can cope with the style of the school.  To me, I am from tranditional school so I hesitate.  But my hubby studied abroad, he supports this kind of education style a lot.

Kids may not need to study abroad as students will take the IB examination in year 12.  They can compete for a place at local University through non-Jupus.  Yet, most if not all will choose study abroad.

My son is on waiting list only.  Seemed there is no rejection.  Thus, chance seemed slim.  Anyway, congratulations to all kids.  We will write to school but still happy with my current offer
