Don't worry. Every applicant has a chance for interview. Did you notice there are a number of big plastic storage boxes for keeping the application files ? I believe they just process the application box by box.
Frankly, the school is very busy in preparing and conducting interviews. If I were them, I definitely won't spend time on sorting the application files and arranging interviews in sequence since all applicants will be interviewed anyway.

I believe every private or dss school is looking for students of "their cup of tea". This is normal. Frankly, I don't appreciate what your friend has done if she did tell you about the arrangement of the group interview. Being a staff of YW, she should keep the secret for the school.

My friend submitted form on 12/9. Finally she got letter on 28/9 (friday).
