I used "baby can read" and flash cards on my son from around 4 to 9 months and started to use english time at around his 10 months( i bought english time when he was 6 months old, but i thought "baby can read" were more suitable for young babies), so i waited.
I found that "baby can read" does not have enough vocabularies. My son learn most his words from the flash cards and the books, but it's still good for toddlers.
English time is more on his pronunication and listening and if you notice, the songs of english time are really good, they are like conversations. that's another part i liked about english time.
my son is now 20 months-old and i am now preg with my second one, i think i am going to go for the same routine with my second one. |
