I agree that some DSS schools such as SPCC and DBS
have maintained their academic standard after they
have become DSS schools. However, I have reservation
whether some traditional elite schools such as Good Hope and Ying Wah College could still maintain their academic
standard after they have become DSS schools.  That is
the reason why some elite schools have hesitation to
change to DSS schools.   

Parents of top students will consider other
Governement subsidized/aided schools if the school fees
carry weights.  But it was certain that the students'
abilities of DSS schools do not differ much.
