For the mid term and final examination, total is about 20 pages for two stories. The weekly dictation is usually 4 pages.
* English standard is above average but not as good as some English DSS school such as DGS.
* the loading of homework is reasonable
* quite demanding in examination. Need to finish 9 -10 pages of questions within 45 mins.

Apart form standard books, they will use additional books ...need to pay HK$2000+ each year which is HK$500 higher other government school. Additional books such as reader & creative writing are used 1-2 grades higher.

LS boys need to learn one sport and one music instrument. But most of them learn more than 1 more sports => at least spend 1-2 hrs at school~ 3 days per week. Therefore, they have to finish homework very fast.

5,6樣左右, 有時加埋改正又多幾樣, 有人做1.5hr, 有人要做2-3hr, 真係要睇小朋友專心否, 我相信一般學校都係咁上下呱.

To bridge the gap, need to develop good reading habits both in English and Chinese (particularly chinese !!!) and have good self-discipline.
to finish the homework by himself.

Admission to LS is through the government's central allocation system.  So, it doesn't matter which kindergarten the kid goes to unless the school is considering the kid at the very last 叩門 stage. ...
