Good to know. So GSIS also believes children should retain their mother tongue? I heard some theory saying using mother tongue first before learning a second language is better. A bit off topic- but wondering if you may share your experience with GSIS which I understand is an elite school? Seems they are highly selective and cherry pick the best/smartest students only ( I guess just having native level of English isn't enough). Are all the kids there super smart?

Thanks for the detailed info! Very useful. The school seems excellent indeed and provides a very good learning environment . I don't dare to think that my little one would be bright Enough to be selected for GSIS. Your son must be very bright- do u mind sharing how you nurture your son And train up his  native English?
