Don't think there will be extra form for u as each birth certificate of a child can only request for one form only...

I just told my hubby about this situation and he kinda blamed me why i sent instead of drop it by hand.....sigh...we lived in HK side and i thought it was just the 1st day, mail should be good enough ah ma!!!!.....

Take it easy la...and pls try to let ur hubby know he shouldn't blame u on anything...as there is still a long road to go. Instead of blaming, we should always say something to comfort the other half la...relax and see what's gonna happen...

So, vliu55, u going to apply for Kentville too? Why not stay at hk side??

I will apply KV too, of course I wanna stay at HK side but seems too limited choice...that's why I try both Kowloon & HK Kinder ah!!!
You are rite, it's a long road and it's just the beginning ....that's why i feel regret that I should have submitted in person!!! Dont wanna my daughter missed any chance ah!!!

非常同意,我都係咁諗,佢明明寫可以寄架嘛,邊會個個都得閒出去九龍塘一轉先得架?
如果因為我係寄去而唔俾form我,咁即係我個仔同呢間學校冇緣,我都盡左力,冇對唔住個仔....

未必既...唔好咁憂住la~我都係琴日12點幾先寄,我見郵局寫一日收一次信,就係4:45pm先收信....咁佢又琴日先登出黎要點做,咁我封信點早寄都係琴日4:45先俾郵差收集架喎~

就算將來其它人有form多都無用, 學校在寄申請表前已經把申請人的姓名印在表上。

for last year.. it was around 5000-6000 applications
intake volume~ 5xx students

they will send out more offers than their volume, as some kids may not take the offer. so, as long as you can get the form, it's not difficult to have an offer.

其實呢幾年都係咁安排, 只要你13号寄出, 應該都有form. 唔好咁worry.

唔係佢silly, 係你misundserstand, 無睇清楚個wedsite 寫咩, 亦無在意人地一早講13/9 會公佈取表詳情.

取特區護照可以郵寄, 米又有一大堆人驚死攞唔到一早去排隊府.

I think If the website said no more form. That means by that time they received already no. of application meeting their form quota. then those that still not reach the school should not count.

this year many people deposit the form in person.

至於郵寄既，上年我們問過學校，佢地話睇郵chop，希望今年都一樣！

...我都係見佢web site寫住13/9公佈申請事宜..我真係無用誤解左勒..跟住我先14/9早上寄信...我剛剛打電話問學校...佢話如果14/9 chop都可能會有機會派申請表...其實收唔收我個女都係其次(因知道競爭大)...只不過唔想自己既過失而失去一個機會...對唔住個女...

我大囡當年都係寄去取表格, 近d兩年多了人生小孩, 上年有好多家長話第二日都已經沒有表格啦! 所以我今年都預早準備好文件及一早睇websit 是否同以往一樣的文件及是否可以親身交到郵箱, 最後我第一日中午都親身交. 我去的時候都好多家長親身交.
大家隨緣啦! 因為考到都未必讀, 當年大囡收了下午班, 都無讀.

上年911星期五website出post，跟住既星期一就話冇form la，但有mamies打過去問，學校話因為已收到太多requests la，正如Nicole講，我都係早大半年mark好哂所有target KGs既派表日期留意相關事宜，做定哂所有準備功夫，一到時候就第一時間send出，真係唔需對學校點handle有唔開心，因為HK既競爭真係好大，遲d到interviews時見到仲多，有d KGs真係唔睇小朋友既performance，咁憑咩考慮？我地亦都無謂考究，所以大家冷靜下來，寄左就唔好擔心，未寄又好想寄咪平常心試吓law，然後為之後既targets作好d準備。

mass production 無問題喎! Teacher to pupil ratio average都只係1:10 總好過有d kg收百幾人但ratio 1:13-15. 不過講咩都好, 最緊要小朋友撞到個有heart, 有經驗做班主任, 唔係1對1都無有.

Don't worry too much. Last year, the school will check the stamp chop. So if you post the letter yesterday, you may still get the form.

On the website, it said the application closed because they don't want to get the enquiry and applications after closing date.

Hope you all can get the form.

it was 6xx.. but what i got is.. fr this yr (2010), it's 5xx.

haha.. yes.. mass production..

according to hkedcity, it's 1:9.5

中午，位處九龍塘的老公在電話中劈頭第一句：「我剛剛將$30成功dum左落鹹水海啦!」
今天(13/9)是國際幼稚園申請取報名表格的日子，留意，是家長去信學校申請取報名表，而非正式申請報名。

13/9凌晨12:10爸媽伏在電腦前面上學校網，還沒有公佈最新消息，早上7:30我再上網還是沒有新消息，回公司第一件事再看看，竟然有了，說是今天開始可郵寄或親身去學校放入信箱取報名表，先到先得，根據家長們的經驗分享，去年是真的動作稍慢一點，竟然真的連表格都取不到。
十點多爸媽在電話中商量，決定要老公午餐時間去學校投信會比較快，事實上是我們做了明智的決定，baby kingdom不斷有人說今早交這封信都要排隊，然後又說早上9點去時，學校的郵筒都差不多滿了，所以說如果今天或明天郵寄的話都可能真的連表格都取不到了。
老公說學校如同特首府邸，重門深鎖，老公和一群師奶站在附近看著郵筒徘徊，突然校門打開，其中一位爸爸冒死衝向前，說「我想報名呀!」職員一本正經地指著郵筒外張貼的一張迎風飄揚的紙答說：「全部寫哂係度，照住做啦!」然後行動敏捷地關上門，老公看到一臉茫然地這位爸爸，熱心地解釋：「今日唔係報名，係申請取表jar, 你上網依三個步驟做，做完就變成我手上呢一個信封啦!」那位爸爸滿臉灰敗地離去。
轉頭，老公繼續和一班師奶你看著我，我看著你，猶豫地不敢將信投入，只有手上這一封呢，投錯了怎麼辦? 最後，老公誓死如歸地投信，其他師奶見此，一窩蜂地擁前…
香港…果然處處是羊群。
老公感慨，取張報名表都如此艱難，接下來還要和那幾千人爭個你死我活，不是dum錢落鹹水海是什麼？

只不過盡了力就算了. 很多時都要睇interview. 大家都無謂太大壓力.

我一路記錯係15號announce, 但尋日朝唔知點解去St Catherine's 個website睇一睇. 一睇嚇死我. 原來已經announce o左, 晏周即刻飛去親身交資料. 我三點左右去到, 果時得三兩個家長交資料落個box~

，並在左下角寫上「申請入學」

　　申請人可由2010年9月13日起以郵遞方式寄至本校(九龍塘羅福道4-6號)或親臨本校把信件投入信箱內。
所需文件及資料︰
　1. 出生證件副本(請在右上角寫上聯絡電話號碼)
　2. 回郵信封一個(四吋半x九吋半，請貼上$2.2郵票)
　3. 報名費三十元正(支票背面請寫上聯絡電話號碼)
　　支票抬頭請寫(St. Catherine's International Kindergarten Ltd.)
　　已交的報名費恕不退回

After reading all the posts, I should say Thank you to God..... bcoz I thought about to apply SC but never mark down the date......

ON 13 Sep evening, my hubby bought back the info about application of SC ( which is his colleague gave that to him, n his colleague's kids are studying in SC)..... then we discussed that we should post it asap.... n I suggested that I may bring it in person on 14 Sep....N he said: not rush... I thought again n again.... I suggested again that he may try to escape fr work in the morning n send it in person.... then he did it.... in the afternoon, another colleague of him went to SC, the mail box was sealed.

Of course, it doesn't mean we will sucess bcoz mine is 0809...small B.....just a pratice I guess!

All Parents, 加油, 這是一場革命!

其實你地可以打去學校問佢地有無收到你封信的，佢地 check 電腦好快答到你架。唔使坐o係度等得咁辛苦喎！

咁真係奇怪，你個朋友咁快收到FORM呀!
就算係舊生，學校點CHECK到? 我們只係比左了BIRTCERT同回郵信封，佢地點知舊生，AND 係優先俾FORM，我個大囡讀緊K2，我仲未收到INTERVIEW CARD喎!
人地之前POST左會係九月尾寄回面試証，同埋大家都係肯定13同14日已經BY HAND OR BY POST，大家耐心等吓啦!

我都好想知點解佢咁早收到application form，我朋友尋日打去學校問，個staff話而家仲整理緊，電腦都未入，所以未check到人名，不過都係話月尾到send out 信，其實上年我地寄出左幾日後，打去學校已入左電腦check到收左我d料la!

寄form時寫咗希望可安排星期六interview, 唔知可否受理呢?

大家可以打去st cat 問自己小朋友有冇form呀, 我今朝打去問, 佢叫你講你小朋友個名同出生日期, 佢一check就check到你有冇form架喇, 但信要下星期先寄出, 無咁快呀.
