SJ started to issue the notification letter today.
Did you receive it ?

What is the total number of P1 applicants for SJ this year ? Will it be less or more than 1000?

I called SJ this morning. They only send letters to successful applicants since this afternoon. If you don't receive the letter by 25.11.08 , you can assume 'game over'. They also suggested us to call them on 26.11.08 in case you couldn't receive the letter by 25.11.08.

I suggest the applicants to call SJ on 21.11.08 to check the result because the registration will be held on 24 & 25.

The best is to publish the result on SJ' webpage and send the letter to the successful applicants, but they confirmed not to do that.

Perhaps, SJ is well-established school and they don't want to change the existing administration process that has been run for many years.


I re-checked with SJ this afternoon. "All" letters to successful applicants were mailed. If your application is successful but you can't receive the letter (for any reason, say, postal problem), the school will allow you to complete the registration later than 24 & 25/11 because you are only allowed to check the result with them on 26/11 or later. So, we all got it clear, right ?

Yes, I got the acceptance letter too. I have been waiting for the results from another 2 schools next week.  I need to figure out which school suits my son in case there are new offers.  I 'll make registration for one school only.
