甲学生會被取录,
如果某科沒有指明只收選A-band學生,甲学生就算放D/E,而甲学生所有A/B/C選既科都不被取錄, 他還是會比乙学生先被取錄

如果所指的成績是學生所得總分(包括面試)就係.

大學會知某同學報讀那科選的band, 但吾知Band幾 (ie: 知到Band A,B,C,D or E, 但吾知A1,A2或A3, B4,B5或.....)

參與院校只對你所選報的課程選擇有概括性的了解。因此各參與院校是不會獲悉你課程選擇的實際排列次序。「大學聯招處」只會將你所選報的課程歸入五個組別，再提供予參與院校：

院校會知道申請人報讀那科的band, 和那個band申請人報了的其他課程.
例如你於組別A選擇了以下課程：
組別A       課程編號
第一志願 JS6004
第二志願 JS1011
第三志願 JS4018
於每個組別中，各參與院校只會獲悉你按課程編號順序排列的課程組別次序，而非你的志願實際排列次序如下：

Band, as an indicator of interest, may result in an adjustment on the applicant's position in the priority list (HKUST).

JUPAS intake from Band A > 96% (UST 2012)

Past experience indicates that the higher the priority you put HKU Science programmes, the greater chance you will be admitted (HKU).
In the previous year, HKU admitted approximately 99% of the students in Band A. Generally, we will consider students who put our programmes in Band B. However, due to the relatively high admission standard of most of our programmes, the students who put our programmes in their Band B choices would normally be admitted by another programme in their Band A choices (HKU).

Among JUPAS Entrants Admitted to CUHK, 99.7% are Band A Applicants (CUHK 2013).
