It is really more difficult for university graduates to find a decent job and earn their livings now... even cleaning ladies earn 10K+...cost of living so high here,  people are so materialistic, so the younger generations learn to be very short-sighted and money minded!

Unlike years before, now seems that it is more difficult for business graduates to find a good job... even those graduated from very famous universities get very average pay jobs and salary remains more or less the same after years.  A lot of jobs in banks/large corporations are automated, middle management jobs are cut, senior management keep working until 60+ years old, so promotion is slow, salary increase is small etc.  Most jobs are sales based on commissions.
Civil servants are not so attractive as before as well...

Yes, a lot of graduates end up to be insurance sales... very low salary!  Not many companies will employ management trainees now.  Unlike other countries, companies in HK mostly focus on sales rather than development and manufacturing.  Scientific and artistic industries are scarce...
