winter uniform (socks)

Does anyone know whether the student needs to wear the school designated socks bought from Kingcow?  For boys, there are long socks for short pants, while short socks for long pants.  I think it's ok for the long socks, but I'm wondering who will see the socks for long pants??

Do you mean boys can also wear short socks for short pants?
And can boys wear long pants not from Kingcow? (because I already have a long dark blue one looks similar to the one from Kingcow)

but the 'school sock' is very good quality, as my elder daughter say so.  She likes to wears the long school socks.  And boy  ...
