Don't hire a private car coz the driver you hire may not be familiar with school locations. Hiring a taxi is better but you may consider traffic jam problem. List out the targets first and then think about the transport arrangement.
I meant after everything has been settled, let him / her review the whole story - from exam to lucky draw, from lucky draw to registration. Of course, no need to yell at the critical moment.
Minor suggestions:
(a) know where to make photocopies
(b) bring more photos of your kid
(c) bring along with cheque and cash
(d) if your phone can be online, check latest information.
Just learn from my kid's school though not useful for me on 6/7 coz I already surrendered.
