For Electives, they are included in the school fees already. For extra activities (eg. swimming, golf, tennis, arts, calligraphy...etc.), it's entirely up to you whether to enrol or not, and you need to pay extra for those. They are generally not too expensive. For swimming lesson for instance, it works out to be around $80 per lesson (1 hour).
