is it true that parents have to dress nice, and Mrs Dai will take a glance at them?

why is the test after the offer annouce?  The school will drop the seat if fail?? or this test is only for the purpose of distributing classes?

that is exactly like my girl.  And she is having the interview tomorrow too.  not sure if we are a pair.

I`m very curious about this mysterious question too.   My daughter had the interview yesterday and only mentioned simple ones. The girls in the waiting room all seem very outstanding.  More like a reading competition.  But one thing I would mention here is that Mrs Dai did have a serious look at both my husband and I but not the other couple.  In my husband opinion, he think because our girl didn`t do well so she will need to get more information by `looking` at the parents.  Any thoughts?

Really!?!? Your girl got accepted that means my girl have a chance.  Now you get me all excited...haha

i was totally upset about this "looking/observing" incident yesterday, but now i'm all happy again with positive comments from you guys.  Well, this emotion fluctuation will last for another 1.5 month before it get settle.

In our case, 1st thing my girl did was read a book.  The other girl who went in with her also read a book at the same time.  In my opinion, Mrs Dai used this time to study the portfolios.  Then my girl got interview by Mrs Dai first by rolling a dice with letters.  Mrs Dai ask her to tell the story that she just read.  Then asked those simple questions and show her the card.  Her card was about Christmas.  (again, this is from her month, not sure if 100% correct).

Same case, my girl got accepted from an international school last year but my hubby decided not to go simply because of $$$, not considering all the happy childhood that she might have given up as well.  Yes, we have 2 kids and $$$ honestly is an issue for enrolling in an international school.

And yet, thanks to all mommies support at the forum.  Checking out this site is already a daily routine for me.  btw, check out the new movie "I don't know how she does it".  it is all about mom, great movie to take a break from our stress.

does anyone familiar about the secondary application system.  If luckily we get accpet from DGJS but cannot promote to DGS (secondary) what do we do, what we the options.  is the game similar to primary school?

no offer from GH too.  got offer from GT, WKF, TN, SFA but none of them are on our piority list... sigh~~  hoping to have good new from KTS, CKY and of course DGJS la.

Really!! then this person must have connection.  Since i also heard similar thing happened last year.  That mean there is 1 less seat for the 2nd in girls.
