Any Learning Habitat (Hampton Loft) PN class parents here?

Yes, my son is studying there.  So  far so good.  Both class teachers are nice.  There are a lot of opportunities for the kids to speak English as 2/3 (or even 3/4) of the class content is conducted in English.  The NET also participates in taking care of the kids, which means the kids have to use English to talk to her or ask for what they want.

I think if you apply pm session, it's not too difficult as most people prefer am session.  But it's not easy to get in am session, particularly for Tsing Yi campus.  Last year, my son behaved quite okay in the interview (though not perfect) and answered almost all the questions correctly (including telling the names of 9 different shapes and put them correctly into the sharp sorter), still only on waiting list for the am session at Tsing Yi campus.

As far as I remember, there is a session on the application form asking you which campus you would like to apply and you can select more than one.  At first, I only apply Tsing Yi am class and was put on waiting list.  Later, I called them to see if there's any vacancies in other campuses and hence my son ends up in pm class of Hampton Loft campus.

Uh, you don't like the school environment of LH (HL)? Why? Most of the mommies I know like it more than St Catherine and Kentville.
My boy is doing fine too.  Before attending LH, he went to another school.  He always said that he didn't like to go to school but now he says he likes LH.  I  also like their teaching materials, in particular the flash cards, they are so beautiful.  I can't find such quality in the market.  Did you visit their website to see your son's pictures?  I enjoy seeing those pictures very much.

Last year, I did the interview at the Tsing Yi campus.  It's quite casual.  My boy played at the playground while waiting.  Then we were invited into the interview room where a teacher gave him a toy (it was a shape sorter in my case).  She asked him to put the shapes into the box and told her what shapes are those.  She also asked him a few simple questions like which one is mommy?  What's your name?  That's all.

My son is also in PNE.   There will be 28 students in PNE after the Dec batch starts, so I think new students wiill be absorbed in other classes.

Did you join the school picnic this coming Sat?  Hope that it wouldn't be too cold on that day.

Our plant only has leaves too.  I've already given it plenty of water and sunshine but still no flower is coming out.  Do you remember when we need to take the plant back to school?
I'm going to stay at LH for K1.  My son will be in PM Eng/Man class.  How about you?

Welcome jl118, my son is in PNE.  Both of the class teachers (Miss Lisa and Miss Hon) are very caring.  Don't worry, your daughter will settle in well

Yeah, the thin Miss Wong is very sweet, my son likes her a lot.  The other Miss Wong is also good and caring, I often see her talk to the parents of new join kids after school about their performance.

Agree.  Even she wants to show her special care to B's parents, she could handle the situation in a better way.
