In what aspect do you think SPC is better than HPCCSS?
Academically for this year HKCEE, HPCCSS scored 7X% for students with marks over 14 for the best six subjects. Average credits for an average student exceeds 5. Both scores are ever best for the school history. For SPC, this year's results are not known. But we do know the status of the first round of F6 admission from its own F5 students. There were 13 places left. So we can deduce the percentage of students with marks over 14. It is around 50%. Suppose some best students left for other schools, say, 5-10% at most. The best scores could not be better than 60%! So I disagree with your saying SPC is better.

Sorry for any misunderstanding caused if i put it too brief. There are about 150 f5 students and there are total 88 places ( 3 classes) in F6. If there are 13 places left, own students got admitted are 88-13 = 75 which is about 50% of the total. ( You can refer to Khamama's post about F1 admission analysis " Central/Western district" which i think is excellent ) Actually my data is quoted from this source.

I'm not saying SPC is not good. Actually i used to live in western district and studied in HKU a long time ago. I walked past SPC every school day en  route to University and had a fond memory of the students there.
I think most parents of HPCCSS would have the same impression of their school like you and think how better it is.
