I don't know if she really wants to promote Ying Wah to the level of DBS. But if it is true, I don't see any problems. HKU is aiming at the top 10 university in the world. My company always wants to be the no.1 in its industry. I would rather prefer to judge on the academic result and student learning life instead of some subjective feelings...

It is difficult to get appreciation from everyone as different people have different opinions. When comparing to some elite schools such as DBS/St. Joseph, there are more news and PR activities about them recently. I have no particular affection or connection to Ying Wah, but I think it should still be one of the recognized schools in HK. Afterall, Ying Wah's future performance will tell by itself in the end.
