Were those who received the 2nd batch letter having the interview on 10 Oct while the 1st batch letters belong to those who had taken the interview on 9 Oct?
Mrs. Dai was having her staffs did the 1st interview based on purely the girls' performance. From which kindergarten the girl is from or the background of parents had nearly no influence. So girls shortlisted are coming from diversified places without evidence of favoring a few kindergartens like previous years. (Amazing a girl got 2nd interview without submitting the 4 pages supporting doc during application. She must be SUPER smart or the teachers were not even had the application forms on hand during 1st interview). It is obvious that the rule of the game has changed this year.
Mrs Dai will interview herself each shortlisted girl. I will guess 300-350 are shortlisted.
Whatever the outcome is, don't blame yourself or your kids. Instead, be proud of your kids and tell them the school they are going to next year is the best MATCH for them. Good luck to everyone !!!!

Just share here instead of pm to individual. It is a part of the culture we can talk freely here. Besides, freedom of speech is the key value of the society we are living in.
Wow............ you two should win the Nobel prize for best parents.
This is a good example how the role of parents influences the kid's growth.

She did not join any competition at all. Basically, I'll speak in English with her most of the time and her mum will speak Chinese with her. Besides, we shall tell her story, one in Chinese and on in ...
