Kids at this age definitely need some more time to get used to the full-day new primary school environment. My son has fogot to hand in something and forgot to take home something. But he said he was happy in school. I know he is very tired although as I asked him questions after school and he could only answered me after I repeated 3/4 times of the question. Remember it was also tough for ourselves when we walked into "half-day" primary school P1 ourselves many years ago.

We should raise out this issue at parents meeting later this month. My son told me the same thing....15 mins recess. 100 boys 100 girls...only one toilet each floor...my son said when he wanted to take out things to eat....time's up

What I heard is kids in FS1 is arranged and queue up there to go toilet. Can they choose what time they go toilet during the recess?

If they can go toilet by class at differnt times during recess, all kids can save queue up time for other things, like rest or eating...

Hi All

Anyone has got the English reading log book last Friday? Is it required to submit tomorrow?


For Chinese Exercise 1.1.1, the right-hand side page is to be done in class or at home?

My son has not got English reading log book yet....I guess he forgot to bring it home last Friday as he saw in school it is a green book with a boy and girl picture on the cover. Just want to double check with you if you have got that log book?

For Chinese 1.1.1, the right hand side page said the students need to listen to teachers how many trokes each chinese word has etc....that's why I guess only need to do left hand side page at home which is writing from 1 to 10.

I remembered the English and Chinese Reading log is submit every Monday. For Chinese Exercise 1.1.1, we finished that at home. Pls correct me if I am wrong understanding.

It is also not easy for ourselves (as adults) to get organised if we have received many pages a day, therefore understand we need to help our FS1 kids to get things organised at the beginning. It will become smoother later when we and our kids have got used to this style.

On the other hand, it is not a bad training for kids to get so many things organised.

Logos has used this teaching method for so many years, guess they may have some intention behind this, if not a mistake.

My son said they only need to write 20 words as a minimu. 20 words a day should not be too hard. And it can be chinese/English.

Good idea! My son forgot to take many things home too, but luckily he could find it the day after.
