Be happy and look for longer term. There is a long way to go!

Our child is just studying Kindergarten... still have primary school, secondary school, university and even master and doctor degree....

This is just a stepping stone and who know the future? One key thing is consistent and keep whatever you have done up. We still have a long way to go!! Let's add oil together and good luck to all!!!

Dear qoo_pooh,

Just my own situation and not meaning applied to all (just share):

1.) English is important for quite a lot of school and can make your child outstanding I think;

2.) Presentation skill is crucial to show to the teachers or principals;

3.) Then general subject like Chinese, Math and general knowledges.

YES, English class with one on one Native Speaker.

Other competition and examination - Yes but I feel not very useful.... just to make you feel you are well prepared ... most of the school not really care the portfolio ...

Puzzle, matching, story telling are useful too.
