My husband must have slept thru' the parents' meeting in June. He know nothing. Can anyone help me? What stationeries should I prepare for my boy for the opening day?

I just went thru' my boy's P1 textbooks. I see that they have the Maths book for P1 & P2. Does it mean that they are supposed to know P1 maths already & the school will start teaching P1 2nd term Maths?
Appreciated help from experienced LS parents.

Dictation!!!

Now we have gone thru' 2 dictations in Eng & Chi each. My son & I are both very stressed, esp. for the Eng. He can mange it but I really do not want to go thru' this process of making him unhappy every week.

Please , anyone have suggestions to make the revision process easier for both of us?
